Everyone has their own talents in life, and for Jadyn, she was born to be a singer.

Jadyn’s parents were able to pick up on their daughter’s gifts from the time she was very small. According to her website, it was when she began to talk that she learned to sing too.

One tune that Jadyn really picked up on was Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb.” At just three-years-old, it seemed apparent to her family that she had a great deal of potential…and they were right.

When legendary singer Dolly Parton teamed up with Pentatonix to create an a capella version of “Jolene.” It turned out so good that people were falling in love, including Jadyn Rylee.

So it’s no surprise that Jadyn also wanted to take a crack at it too. She beautifully belts out the lyrics in her video, showing she’s got some powerful vocals.

It’s near impossible not to snap your fingers as she sings:

“Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I’m begging of you please don’t take my man”

“Jolene” is a fairly simple tune (about 200 words). In addition to the incredible melody, it’s something that Dolly Parton believes contributes to its popularity.

She told NPR:

“It’s a great chord progression — people love that ‘Jolene’ lick. It’s as much a part of the song almost as the song. And because it’s just the same word over and over, even a first-grader or a baby can sing, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene.’ It’s like, how hard can that be?”
