It’s a rare thing to witness a child figure skating with and adult for a televised event but, thankfully, it happened.
It all took place in Milano.
A grown man took his place next to a young boy on the ice and were they ever a pair to behold.
They skate it out to “Tango Amore”. While there’s no question they both possess undeniable talent, it’s the little boy who’s a magnet for attention.

Those are the names of the two skaters. Now, we have no idea if they’re a father and son duo or even related for that matter.
But what we’re certain of is that this routine is unbelievable. It’s one of those that after watching it, you can’t get it out of your mind.
Their perfectly executed routine went viral.
After the video of the performance was uploaded to social media, it didn’t take long for it to go viral.
As of today, it’s been viewed more than 9000,000 times.
While there are plenty of ice-skating videos on the internet, this one definitely deserves attention.
Alexander lifts his head and it begins.
As soon as Alexander begins to skate his way toward the center of the rink, the audience explodes. He stops with the spotlight on him as everyone continues to cheer.
He’s smartly dressed in black slacks, a long-sleeved black shirt, and a vest with red sparkles. We’re guessing he’s around 10 years old.
The music is his cue.
Once the song starts to play, Alexander raises his arms high. Then, he makes his first turn, which is only the start of an outstanding routine.
It’s easy to see that although young, he’s extremely confident.
He is a thrill to watch.
After making his way around the ice rink, Alexander does a single axle. But then he immediately follows that up with a double-axle spin.
Both are flawless. The crowd goes wild. He’s ‘small yet so mighty.
A star is clearly born.
One of the amazing things about this performance is that the music is quite mature. Even so, this young boy seems to understand and feel it.
Each move is perfectly choreographed throughout the entire piece.
It’s enchanting to watch.
You’ve probably seen young kids ice skate before but there’s something unique and special about this boy.
He’s so poised and on point. It’s almost as though he’s an adult in a young child’s body. He’s magical on the ice.
They come together to kick it up a notch.
Suddenly, Plushenko Evgeni joins Alexander on the ice. As you can imagine, the audience can’t contain their excitement.
After all, this man is a famous figure skating champion known for his artistic ability and unwavering skill. So, seeing the two of them together is a real show-stopper.
They move in perfect harmony.
As they skate side by side, you see them performing identical moves. It’s unbelievable. You might think Alexander would have a hard time keeping up but he doesn’t.
They’re in perfect harmony as if skating as one.
Their time to shine.
At the end of the performance, the two are in the center of the ice. That’s when Plushenko Evgeni takes Alexander’s hand to let him know he did a fantastic job.
The boy looks down as though embarrassed. It’s a super sweet moment and a great way to end the show.
