For the record, this is one of my favorite viral videos out there. You may have seen it before considering it has been floating around the internet for several years and has accumulated almost 5 million views on YouTube.

If you haven’t seen it, buckle up. You’re in for a fun treat.

Rick K & the Allnighters, a band from Morgantown, West Virginia, were hired to perform at a wedding.

While there, they performed a variety of cover songs, including ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man”.

At first, the performance seemed to be proceeding as normal. The drummer led the band with taps on the cymbals, causing the guitar and bass to enter into the song as the singer introduced the song to the crowd.

The camera focuses on the multi-talented guitarist as he plays the main riff and sings the lyrics.

But soon, it becomes apparent who is the real star of the show – the drummer, Steve Moore.

When I think of how to describe Steve’s drumming style, I find myself at a loss. Words can’t accurately describe it.

This is definitely an instance where a picture is worth a thousand words, and seeing is believing.

But to put it simply, Steve Moore is at the wrong gig.

This man wasn’t meant for just wedding performances. He has a style and charisma that puts him on his own level. The rest of the band is great, but Steve is something else. He really steals the show – and the funniest part is that it’s not intentional, it’s just his drumming style.

Clearly, this drummer is being held back from his true potential.

Around 2:20, Steve impersonates a robot drummer, then he does a windmill with his arm at 2:56 before embodying an octopus-like creature mere seconds later.

Describing his style is like describing an enigma – difficult to do, but fascinating to see.

See for yourself in the video below. You won’t be disappointed.

Please SHARE this hilariously talented drummer with your friends and family.
