“Hallelujah” is an iconic song originally produced by Leonard Cohen, which has gone on to be covered by a whole host of musicians, big and small.

The song is so emotionally raw that it pairs well for accompanying dance performances that are designed to tug at an audience’s heartstrings – like this performance the 2019 Hall of Fame Dance Challenge.

Seven-year-old Brady Reuss from Ontario, Canada is the star of this moving dance routine.

If there was ever proof that talent has no age, it’s in Brady’s dancing. She might not have even reached double figures yet, but her moves are akin to that of a professional dancer with more than a decade of experience.

Kids’ dance competitions receive their fair share of controversy, but they do give children a fantastic opportunity to become well-known for their talent from a young age.

The Hall of Fame Dance Challenge has reached its 15th season, and its popularity is still on the rise.

It’s probably because talented dancers like Brady continue to grace the competition’s stage year after year, mesmerizing their audience with their captivating routines.

From the moment Brady walks onto the stage, you can tell her head’s in the game. She’s already in dancing mode, moving with grace and poise to reach her starting position.

When the familiar lyrics kick in, Brady’s routine begins.

She’s combined ballet and gymnastics in a contemporary-esque dance routine full of unexpected moves and twists.

Beginning in a yoga pose known as the child’s pose, Brady rises onto her knees and lifts her arms in the air.

She’s the picture of elegance as she comes to standing, moving seamlessly from one pose to the next.

There’s no denying that this little girl was born to dance. While her fellow schoolmates are probably still learning to develop their balance and coordination skills, Brady has already mastered hers.

What helps her out a lot in this routine is her incredible flexibility, which lets her hold her leg in splits position in the air, bend backward in a split second, and pull off a variety of other wince-worthy moves.

Just when you think she’s exhausted every move in the book, Brady comes out with another one that’s even more impressive than the last.

She jumps, falls into the splits, and bends her body in ways that would put most adults in hospital.

Brady has put so much time, effort, and devotion into this dance that it’s no surprise she pulled it off so spectacularly.

As a member of the Orange County Arts Academy with her sister, Dylan Reuss, Brady looks to be onto big things – even at such a young age!

This rendition of “Hallelujah” is by Rhema Marvanne, and is a fantastic pairing to her performance.

Watching her somersaulting across the stage, we have to think back to what we were doing at the age of seven.

Most children that age are relatively acrobatic – but that usually means attempting handstands in school phys ed classes.

It’s clear that Brady has a gymnast’s genes in her, but she’s had to put a lot of time and effort into her hobby to get this good, this fast.

By the end of her routine, she has the audience wrapped around her little finger.

To whoops, cheers, and loud applause, she prances off-stage as eloquently as she arrived. She knows she’s made her mark!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Zyn5794hrc&ab_channel=CarmoDance
