Many reality shows on the air seem inclusive, but they only accept a small group of people.

On World of Dance, the dancers accepted on the show truly come from all around the world. Not only can anyone try out for the show, but they can also be children under 17 or adults over the age of 18.

World of Dance also allows for dancers to appear solo or in teams of 4+. On the show, the teams or solo/small group performers are split into two groups each, Upper and Junior, which is reflective of their age.

If you’re not familiar yet with the set up for World of Dance, the show has five rounds of competition where the dancers do their best to impress the judges.

The Qualifiers is where the dancers fight to earn a score of 85 or higher to earn the place on the show. Next comes the Duels, where survivors of round one go head-to-head to see who can make it to the next round.

After the Duels, the survivors compete for some of the final spots left. There are 12 spots in the Division Final, six for the Upper teams and six for the Junior teams.

On this season of World of Dance, The Kings took the stage to compete for a spot as an Upper Team, as their team members are between the ages of 17 and 27.

The Kings full bio is on NBC’s website for World of Dance:

The Kings, who are known in the dance community for their high-flying tricks and never-before-seen stunts, may be the most famous group of dancers you never heard of… yet. They are some of the most sought-after choreographers in Bollywood and they have won almost every competition India has to offer, including “India’s Got Talent.” Additionally, they were the first team from India to achieve a bronze medal at the 2015 World Hip-Hop Dance Championship.

The 2015 Bollywood movie “ABCD: Any Body Can Dance 2” depicts their real-life story of trial and triumph. Their years of hard work and persistence have paid off as The Kings of India have now come to “World of Dance” to take the next step in their quest for world domination.

For their qualifiers performance, The Kings pulled off moves that should not even be possible. One man jumped over four other dancers while making it look like he was using them as a lift.

Their skill was so impressive, judge Derek Hough held his face in shock and awe. By the end of the dance, he literally leaped out of his chair to show off his excitement.

What did you think of the jumps that these dancers were able to pull off? I can’t wait to see what else they do on this season.
