Animals are even more adorable when they display affection for some of the same things we love.

Take music as an example. A stray cat in Istanbul decided to come on stage and show the audience what it means to truly enjoy the performance. The crowd was delighted, especially because the cat didn’t want to go away. It was probably one of the cutest concert interruptions of all time! This funny, unexpected event took place during a CRR Symphony Orchestra concert in Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul, Turkey.

In February 2020, one kitten made it to the headlines after she decided that she should come up front, and meet all musicians in person.

We don’t know if this fluff ball had a VIP ticket or what!

As soon as the cat appeared on stage, everyone was laughing and having an amazing time. The concert took an unexpected turn in direction of a comedy show, while members of the orchestra tried to make the kitty go away.

As usually happens when you insist on something, it kind of avoids happening.

Still, the cat made up her mind. She didn’t want to go; instead, she wandered between the instruments, paying special attention to the cellos. In the end, the performers began petting the adorable, four-legged intruder and continued to perform with a cat on stage.

The conductor has had the pleasure of collaborating with a furry expert.

One of the funniest parts of the video is when the cat comes close to the conductor. The podium was all hers!

It’s funny how the concert wasn’t interrupted by someone’s loud coughing or a mobile phone.

If someone told you what would happen, you wouldn’t believe them. Because Istanbul is a home for hundreds of thousands of stray felines, it’s not so unusual that one of them ended up in a concert hall.

Cats are beloved in Turkey, people provide them with food, clean water and shelter.

Most cafes, pubs, stores and even government offices in Turkey have their feline mascots, and you can see cat food everywhere on the sidewalks. Stray cats have become part of Istanbul’s soul. We wonder what else do they enjoy because it’s obvious that they love classical music!

Animals with good taste—what a splendid thing to see!

In the beginning, the conductor was very confused. He spoke to the cheerful audience, saying that he tried to take one cat out earlier in the morning, but it didn’t go as planned.

Then he shows the injury on his hand, a cat scratched him.

There’s no joking with cats in Turkey, that’s for sure! He also asks if there’s anyone allergic to cats. Luckily, no one reacts to that question, meaning that everyone can safely enjoy the cat’s company.

Since the show must go on, the orchestra continues to perform with a cat playing around them.

We love how they didn’t take the kitty out by force, they let her stay. It was the noble thing to do!

As it turns out, this isn’t the first time an animal has interrupted a concert.

Animals are used to crashing up the party. A similar thing happened in 2017 when the Vienna Chamber Orchestra’s performance was interrupted by a dog. On another occasion, a puppy invaded a stage during a violin concert by Rafael Altino.

Remember to always make the best of it—animals only want to cuddle!

They don’t have bad intentions, and they don’t want to steal your 15 minutes of fame.
