You would probably have a hard time trying to find someone who hasn’t heard of Money Heist.

This crime show is immensely popular. It is the most-watched non-English series on Netflix and 3rd most popular show on IMDB. Sooner or later, people had to start paying tribute to the beloved show. In this performance, some dancers from Cyprus paid tribute to it in flash mob style, and it ended up becoming a phenomenal Halloween party.

What an original way to surprise people for Halloween!

The group of dancers from System D7 Dance Studio from Nicosia, Cyprus surprised everyone at the mall with an awesome dance routine, but they also wore their masks while doing it.

The red jumpsuits and face masks are exact replicas of the ones used in Money Heist, and it just gives the whole performance a little something extra.

We imagine Professor and Tokyo having a conversation about distracting such a huge crowd at the mall—maybe that was all part of operation flash mob! All jokes aside, the amazing dance was choreographed by Ilias Haldoupis and Anastasia Hadjiefrem. Ilias is a radio presenter, well-known for the hilarious parodies he performs.

Hadjiefrem is a professional dancer, and she also happens to be the owner of the SD7 studio, which offers hip hop, locking and breakdance classes.

Just look how most of the shoppers didn’t think it was unusual to see masked people clapping, and decided to clap along!

The dancers entered the mall and started walking in a circle and clapping in rhythm.

A lot of bypassers started clapping along, and it boosted the mood immediately.

Shortly after, the hip hop begins. All the dancers deliver some fancy moves, and they use the whole floor to move around.

One second they’re on one side, and the other second they’re moving to the other side, leaving everyone in awe with sharp movements and perfect timing.

The song they dance to is the remix of “Bella Ciao.”

The crowd was entertained, and most of the people danced along.

If we had to choose one perfect display of love and appreciation for a TV show, this flash mob would do the trick. All the symbols used in the series have a lot of significance—let’s begin with the color red. Red is a symbol of revolution. The Dali mask, created by Spanish artist Salvador Dali, was used during Zurich’s Dada movement. Students rejected the modern capitalist system, and the masks were their way to show solidarity with others. The idea evolved over the years, and today masks symbolize anti-establishment movements.

Finally, “Bella Ciao” is an Italian folk song that was used a lot during the Second World War as an anthem against fascist resistance.

The song’s title translates to “Goodbye Beautiful,” and Money Heist restored its popularity after it was used in several scenes. The importance of the song and its historical meaning deserve an article on its own, but we love how dancers remixed a revolution song and used it to express themselves.
