I did not expect to hear that voice come out of such a tiny body!

Do you remember little Sophie Fatu?

Just a few weeks ago, her audition on America’s Got Talent aired and Simon Cowell was obsessed with her.

The little 5-year-old is adorable and very polite and charming. She even says “thank you” in the cutest voice!

For her audition, Sophie impressed and surprised the judges when she sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra.

Simon liked Sophie so much, he told her that he wanted his son to date her one day! Simon even tried to set them up as soon as Sophie was on the stage again.

For her second performance on America’s Got Talent, Sophie dug into Frank Sinatra repertoire and came back to perform “New York, New York.”

Before she got a chance to sing, Sophie told Simon that she wasn’t even there to compete for the money. She just wanted to sing for everyone!

Simon joked around and asked if they’d have to pay Sophie if she actually won AGT – and she told him no! Clearly, we know who Simon is rooting for now.

After her performance, Simon told her that she was the youngest act to every audition for America’s Got Talent (though some avid AGT fans are arguing online there’s been a 4-year-old act before).

Simon then had a big question for Sophie:

“Sophie, that was you really singing?

When Sophie said yes, Simon said:

“Honestly, because that shouldn’t happen! You shouldn’t be able to remember the words, let along sing like that with the key change and everything.”

When guest judge Olivia Munn asked Sophie where she learned to sing like that, Sophie adorably told her that she learned it all from Frank Sinatra!

All five judges loved Sophie and obviously had to say yes to send her further into the competition!

America’s Got Talent shared the video on their Facebook page and in under an hour, it already had gotten 80,000 views, 5,000 likes, and hundreds of comments.

This Facebook commenter wrote:

One Facebook user predicts that Sophie will have a very talented future:

When she gets older and has more control she’s gonna be amazing! She’s already got a good voice for 5 years old!

While not everyone was a fan of the performance. One commenter wrote:

Talented “for a kid” is not what we need. The kids who go far are the ones who are more talented than the adults. Nobody would go to Vegas for this.
