It seems almost impossible not to see a talent show on TV. You see multiple talent shows on TV such as the US Got Talent, World of Dance, The Four, and many more. It has become a notable genre of reality television that it helped catapult the lives of amateur artists to stardom.

We see a variety of individuals showcase their talents such as singing on stage, shadow dancing, doing magic tricks, or painting amazing art. You may even have watched several talent shows in town, school, or on television.

These talent shows are super fun to watch because you never know what kind of performance the participants will perform.

They often show their most unique talents that leave the crowd clapping in amazement. Due to their amazing performances, organizers have changed talent shows into contests. In this instance, contestants are motivated to perform for a reward, trophy, or any kind of prize.

For example, a group of singers will perform and compete with other groups to win a cash prize. However, there are talent shows that are for entertainment.

One particular group showed off their unique talents in the funniest and creative way.

Seven girls came out of the stage wearing black and white suits, and black and white shoes. As the crowd watched them come out of the stage, they started to get confused on which limb belongs to.

It seems that they won’t be having a typical dance act-but an optical illusion performance!

As a participant in a talent show, you need to have something interesting to show to the crowd. You need to make them gasp in amazement and cheer at your performance. Standing out should be at the forefront of your mind.

Luckily, these girls have a lot of surprises up their sleeves.

Shuffling their way in the spotlight, you may seem to notice that there is a weird jumble of limbs. Who’s limb am I seeing?

Before you can figure out your dilemma, the song Eye of the Tiger by Survivor started playing in the speaker. Quickly, the girls lifted their legs in tune to the music.

The song changes, and so do the teens’ moves. Their performance is not only amusing, but it kind of played tricks with your eyes. Do you see one limb attached to two heads? Or wait that’s not possible, right?

Whose leg belongs to whom?

It can truly be confusing. But, the trick lies in the costumes. The alternating black and white costume gives the illusion of one pair of limbs for two heads.

Although it’s obvious what the secret is, it’s still entertaining to watch them perform on stage and mess with your perception.

It was even amusing when the music changed to the classic tune of Chariots of Fire. They used their white costume to make it appear as if they’re running. It looks like there are three and a half bodies running.

The crowd laughed and cheered at each visual by the group. It was truly one of the best optical illusion performance.

So what exactly is an “optical illusion?” Very Well Mind explains on their site:

“Optical illusions, more appropriately known as visual illusions, involves visual deception. Due to the arrangement of images, effect of colors, impact of light source or other variable, a wide range of misleading visual effects can be seen.”

With each new song, the girls performed different movements. Due to their unique performance, their video has been watched more than seven million times.
