If you’re a dance lover and have never heard of The Royal Family dance crew, stop what you’re doing and look them up.
For those who don’t know, they are a massive mega crew from Auckland, New Zealand that stuns crowds all around the world in competitions like World of Dance.
They’re seriously in a league of their own!
The video we’re talking about shows a front-row perspective of The Royal Family performing in the World of Dance contest.
The World of Dance is a popular show on NBC where three celebrity judges, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough, judge and mentor talented dancers of all ages.
Back in 2015, The Royal Family did a jaw-dropping routine that shocked the judges and had the audience going wild.
The video is filmed from the very first row to give you a closer look into their complex moves.
They start off to a song by Rihanna and do some incredibly timed dance moves!
Right from the jump, you can tell they’re not messing around.
Every movement is calculated and practiced to a tee! After that, the dancer in front does the iconic dance move ‘The Woah’ where she throws up an imaginary object.
The Royal Family is right on point, meeting every cue with precision and a ton of energy.
They play to the beat of this song perfectly, doing sharp dance moves every time the bass drops.
About one minute into the video, the music starts to change and The Royal Family speeds things up a notch.
When the song begins mixing into several other popular songs, The Royal Family starts doing some ridiculously quick moves that all match up to each new sound blaring from the speakers.
From there, the routine just gets better and the dancers take turns rotating to the front of the stage while simultaneously changing costumes.
One thing that doesn’t change the entire time is the group’s flawless ability to mimic each other like they’re all robots.
The entire 10-minute performance is filled with electric moves and legendary hip hop songs.
They dance to everything from Rihanna to Aaliyah to Missy Elliot, doing complicated moves that are reminiscent of those very artists.
Later on, about 8:00 into the breathtaking show, all the guys in The Royal Family take center stage and bring out some mind-boggling movements to “Work It” by Missy Elliot.
During the grand finale, the whole team takes the spotlight to deliver a flurry of amazing dance moves.
Seeing the mega crew work as one unit is nothing less than extraordinary. They pop their arms, shake their hands and vibrate their bodies in one final display of top-notch talent.
The Royal Family are no strangers to going viral.
Their well-choreographed routines crafted by Parris Goebel almost always light the internet on fire, but you won’t believe how many views this one got!
Their performance at World Of Dance has been viewed over 168 million times, with 2.2 million likes and almost 50,000 comments.
