We have also seen musicians from other genres singing country songs or have partnered with Folk Rock and Country singers in a collaboration of a lifetime.

One great example of a perfect collaboration is when former Led Zepellin’s lead singer, Robert Plant, joins the bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss.

They sang “Can’t let Go.”

It was such a masterpiece from start to finish.

They performed the song live from a studio, and they instantly had the audience’s attention.

They kept it upbeat and authentic.

Accompanied by different stringed instruments, Alison and Robert make a perfect melody, each complimenting the other’s voice in every verse.

The tempo and beat would make you dance just like all the other upbeat folk and country songs back in the day.

One user said, “That was great. The two artists are about 180 degrees apart in their musical roots but came together to become an outstanding duet. Alison Krauss has got to be one of the best pure voices around and Robert Plant is just amazing from Rock to Country and in between.”

We couldn’t agree more. It is such an amazing song being sung by a rock band singer.

Clearly, they hit the mark.

Another user praised the combo of Alison and Robert, “I must say Robert Plant is singing better these days than he ever did in his Led Zeppelin days. His voice has matured and he’s much more disciplined as a singer. Who would have ever paired Plant and Alison Krauss? This is a singing duo made in heaven.”

And it is truly a match made in heaven with their voices complimenting each other.

The song “Can’t Let Go” is part of their album “Raise The Roof.”

This is Alison and Robert’s second collaborative album and was released on November 19, 2021. The album was nominated for 3 Grammy Awards at its 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
