There isn’t one soul in the modern world who hasn’t heard of Clint Eastwood.

He defined an era of action films and is a cultural icon.

Eastwood has been around for a long while.

He’s now 92, which is hard to grasp for most of us. Then again, his career did kick off in the 60s!

But did you know Clint Eastwood had a daughter he’d never heard of till recently?

Well, when you’re as famous as Clint Eastwood, it’s not too weird.

Besides the acting skills, he’s also got the looks and the stature to go with it.

We also know that women of his era loved the bad boy type, and it could be said that he pioneered that very archetype himself.

Eastwood has been married twice and has around 8 children. But he had those children not just across 2 women, but 6.

Yes, Eastwood has conceived children with at least 6 women in his lifetime.

I know Eastwood has been labeled an “icon of masculinity” but that’s a bit much, you’ve got to admit.

Eastwood had an affair during his engagement with his first wife.

That ended up birthing a little reminder that he wouldn’t know about till much, much later in his life.

It produced a daughter, Laurie Murray, whom the mysterious woman put up for adoption.

The affair in question happened around or after 1953.

Much of the information we have about it comes courtesy of Patrick McGilligan, a Clint Eastwood biographer.

McGilligan speculated that the woman in this affair was involved in a theater group that Eastwood was involved with.

To this day, nobody knows the identity of that woman.

Murray ended up being adopted by Seattle couple Clyde and Helen Warren. She’d spent much of her life not knowing who her biological parents were.

She’s now 68 and didn’t begin her search for her biological parents until 10-20 years ago.

When she learned the truth about her biological parents, she reached out to Eastwood.

Things went very well, and the father and daughter are on very good terms.

“I think when he discovered she was his daughter, and realized she was that person from long before … he was okay with it.” – McGilligan wrote in a Clint Eastwood biography book

During the premiere of Eastwood’s film “The Mule,” Laurie was invited and walked the red carpet with her father and siblings.

And she never knew she had this many siblings.

Likewise, Eastwood was probably surprised to learn he had an eighth child he’d never heard of.

But now that everyone’s grown up, they can all enjoy this prestigious moment together. They posed for a photo together, all 8 of them.

Now, Laurie Murray spends a lot of time with her family.

She goes on family vacations with them, including dinners and golf trips.

Laurie’s journey is pretty remarkable.

She went from not knowing who her biological parents were to traveling and hanging out with her celebrity father and his other children.
