Latin dances, just like any other dance really, require discipline, countless hours of practice, and love for what you do.
Now, if it takes so much time and effort to reach a decent level, imagine how hard it must be to reach the highest level and be considered unbeatable. Just like Riccardo and Yulia, 5-time Undefeated US National Professional Latin Champions.
Riccardo, from Terni, Italy, and Yulia, from Belgorod, Russia, are one of the most famous dancing couples, with thousands of fans from all over the world.
Yulia and Riccardo have been a dancing couple for several years, and they have been winning dancing competitions together since 2008. Among their titles are US National Professional Latin Champions, World Professional Latin Champions, and World Professional Showdance Champions.
The two dancers, not only share a love of dance, but a love of each other too, and they have been married for the last couple of years.
In the video that follows, the dancing couple is dancing, among others, and stealing the show. Riccardo and Yulia definitely dance to impress. With this dance of theirs, they participated in the Fred Astaire Cup Professional Latin held in Paris, France. They won first place representing the USA.
Not only do Yulia and Riccardo dance super fast, but they also perform demanding dancing maneuvers, making them look very easy and effortless.
Yulia is wearing a beautiful purple dress, with all the necessary sparkle, that makes her stand out from the very beginning. And then she starts dancing, leaving the audience speechless with her impeccable moves. Riccardo, on the other hand, knows exactly how to guide his partner, is very confident about his moves and this shows through their whole performance.
What is also impressive is the fact that they just “fill” the stage.
They don’t just use the space they were given at the beginning, but they expand and dance on the whole stage, as if it’s theirs. And this is definitely a sign that they know what they’re doing, they have no doubts about their routine whatsoever, and they want everyone to see and admire them.
