Not only does she have a unique raspy and soulful voice, but she’s also amazingly talented when it comes to technical vocal proficiency. Even fellow singer Kelly Clarkson – who has a pretty great voice herself – believes that Pink’s voice is “the best of our generation.”
That’s a heck of a compliment!
And even knowing all of this, listening to her acoustic version of the sing “Perfect” still took us by surprise.
There are lots of ways to pop starts to modify their voices and since her concerts are so acrobatic, it’s easy to forget that she “made it” because of her skills.
We just want to know if the handful of fans present at the live KIIS-FM performance were as blown away.
The guitar player appears to be her long-time friend Justin Derrico – and the two also seem to have an amazing connection, which takes the performance up yet another notch.
The most popular comment on her video of the song?:
“Her voice is CRIMINALLY underrated at best. She’s simply amazing.”
It’s true. And it’s all her. No autotune, no backup vocals boosting her sound, just an acoustic guitar.
In addition, she’s always projected a confident and self-sufficient image without taking aim at other artists.
“Yup, Pink was an amazing role model for my daughters too. They would listen to her when nothing else could get through in those ‘tweeny/early teen’ years. All four are successful strong women in their thirties now. THANK YOU PINK !!” said a commenter.

It’s clear that her career has touched many, and her 102.7KIISFM performance has served as a perfect example of her vocals at their best – so much so that the official video of it alone has over 10 million views.
The song is from the artist’s Greatest Hits…So Far album. It’s all about encouraging people to accept themselves and forgiving yourself for past mistakes.
“You’re so mean, when you talk, about yourself you were wrong
Change the voices in your head, make them like you instead”

“Her voice is beautiful, pure and perfect without any kind of effects whatsoever. She’s a beautiful, kind soul that wants to bring out the best in everyone and help us see the value and worth that we have, even if we can’t see it ourselves. She writes songs we relate to and her records are like fun, energetic group therapy sessions. We don’t deserve P!nk, but we sure are blessed to have her, and I hope she sticks around for a good long time,” raved a commenter.
