She loves to sing and perform on stage, and she often sings songs in honor of her home country of Malta.

She recently got the chance to sing on “Britain’s Got Talent,” and she was extremely excited. But when the time came, she was extremely nervous. She wasn’t sure if she could muster up the confidence to get up on stage and sing in front of such a large live audience, as well as everyone who was watching on television.

To make things even more stressful, Amy picked an extremely powerful song that can sometimes be difficult to master.

She knew the song would also help her showcase her amazing voice and range, and she felt like it was worth the risk. When the time came for her to step on stage, she was extremely nervous, but she managed to speak calmly for her introduction. She explained that she had chosen to sing a song called “Nuella Fantasia.” A true classic.

The song was written in Italian and is beautiful.

Even if you don’t speak Italian, you can still get a great understanding of the emotion and feelings behind this amazing song. Amy sings it a passion that makes it even easier to understand. The Italian lyrics are:

“Nella fantasia io vedo un mondo giusto,

Li tutti vivono in pace e in onestà.

Io sogno d’anime che sono sempre libere,

Come le nuvole che volano,

Pien’ d’umanità in fondo all’anima.

Pien’ d’umanità in fondo all’anima.”

If you can’t understand the Italian version, the lyrics mean:

“In my imagination, I see a fair world,

Everyone lives in peace and in honesty there.

I dream of souls that are always free,

Like the clouds that fly,

Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

In my imagination, I see a bright world,

Even the night is less dark there.

I dream of souls that are always free,

Like clouds that fly.

In my imagination there exists a warm wind,

That breathes on the cities, like a friend.

I dream of souls that are always free,

Like clouds that fly,

Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.”

Amy sang it beautifully.

She was loud and confident, and her amazing vocals were showcased by the soulful lyrics. She hit every single note perfectly and everyone in the audience was shocked that such a big and powerful voice could come from such a young girl.

The judges and many of the audience members wiped tears from their faces, and many others cheered when she was finished.

If that wasn’t enough, the entire audience also gave her a standing ovation when she was finished. She had nailed it, and all of her anxiety was gone.
