Maroon 5 might have dropped their sixth studio album, Red Pill Blues, in November 2017 but that doesn’t mean they can’t still release new videos!
The first two singles off the album, “What Lovers Do” and “Wait” were huge hits with their fans and have been playing on the radio non-stop.
On May 31, 2018, Maroon 5 surprised their fans by not only releasing the third single off their album, but they also shared the music video for it as well.
The song features popular rapper, Cardi B, on what seems to be her 100th feature of 2018. The song has many powerful lyrics like:
Maybe it’s 6:45
Maybe I’m barely alive
Maybe you’ve taken my shit for the last time, yeah
Maybe I know that I’m drunk
Maybe I know you’re the one
Maybe I’m thinking it’s better if you drive
The music video is different than a typical video from Maroon 5. In it, frontman Adam Levine stands in the center of the room with a microphone. His bandmates are in the background playing their instruments.
The camera spins around Adam and suddenly, women start to appear behind him. Each woman is successful in her own right, not just because they are entertainers, but because they are also champions for women’s rights.
The video was a huge hit with fans because of the empowering message that it sends.
Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, appeared in the video the most out of all the guest stars and she was excited to share the video with her 20 million fans on Instagram. She wrote the caption:
Thanks for inviting me to be apart of this special video @adamlevine & @maroon5. And in such good company

Adam Levine also shared the video on his personal Instagram with the caption:
Thank you so much to everyone involved with this very special project; honored to share this with you all!
The video only dropped on Thursday, May 31, 2018, but quickly shot to the top of the trending chart on YouTube. In under 12 hours of posting, it had 4 million views.
Which of these cameos did you like the best? I was so excited to see Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown!
