The audience across the world fell in love with Nicola Cavallaro’s voice, after he competed on The Voice France.

Nicola Cavallaro, better known by his stage name Seryo, is a self-taught musician from Italy. He began to play guitar at the age of five. As a teenager, Cavallaro decided to try out his singing abilities, formed a band, and started performing all over his native Catania, Sicily.

His life journey has been quite interesting so far.

Although being passionate about music, Nicola joined the army when he was 19. That’s when he made a break from performing and became a skilled paratrooper. A year later, Cavallaro decided that he’s more into medical studies. He left the army and pursued the new dream. After a while, he fell in love with France, moved there, and chose to compete on The Voice France.

That’s when he surprised everyone with his powerful voice!

Of course, his good looks didn’t hurt at all, and the media began describing him as a bearded, handsome guy with piercing blue eyes who blew everyone away in the competition.

Cavallaro’s Instagram and Twitter accounts are currently inactive.

Luckily, there’s his YouTube channel, which 174,000 fans are already subscribed to.

“Fallin’” was frequently requested from him.

Because he was part of a singing competition, Nicola was often in the spotlight and gained a lot of fans. Most of them commented on his video that he should sing Alicia Keys’ famous song. Then finally, one fan messaged Cavallaro privately and explained how much it would mean to him if Nicola performed it. The fan told him about his life struggles, and the Italian singing sensation couldn’t refuse.

The arrangement was done, and the rest is history!

“Fallin’” was a global success for Alicia Keys.

It topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and got her three Grammy Awards. Therefore, the song is very important to Keys. Imagine how good Nicola’s cover is if Alicia shared it with her fans on her official website!

Cavallaro published the cover in 2015, and it has been viewed 11 million times on YouTube.
