One of the best things about following a certain celebrity is finding out how big their heart is.

A lot of celebrities get themselves tangled up in different scandals and crimes.

Fame and excess can lead someone down the bitter road but not everyone is like that.

One comedian, in particular, became viral after his interaction with a fan. It only goes to show that celebrities are humans too.

And as humans, they can move and be moved by kindness.

Jack Black is a well-known comedian and musician.

It’s hard to take the man seriously because, despite his obvious talents in making music and singing, you can’t really tell if he’s joking around or not.

The comedian is known for his roles in Jumanji, Nacho Libre, Gulliver’s Travels, and most especially School of Rock.

But what is less known about him is his kindness and generosity.

The viral video was taken from the Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care.

The event is used to raise funds to provide for the organization’s hospice program.

Funds are also invested into “compassionate end–of–life” care for the most unexpected and heartbreaking age demographic – children and adolescents.

Black was invited into the program and didn’t hesitate to join in the fun.

It was then that he was introduced to one of his fans.

During the event, Black was led to Abraham.

Abraham is just 15 but he’s currently enduring a rare mitochondrial disease called Pearson Syndrome.

In essence, Pearson syndrome is a disease described as bone marrow failure.

This failure leads to a plethora of complications like frequent infections, anemia, diabetes, and liver problems, among others.

Abraham has been staying with the organization for about a year now where he was receiving palliative care.

It was at this point in his life that he encountered Jack Black through his character, the iconic Mr. Schneebly.

The nurse then shared with the actor that Abraham loves The School or Rock.

Black was visibly touched by the boy’s appreciation of his work.

He then knelt down and held Abraham’s hand.

They then asked the boy what his favorite thing about the movie was.

Abraham said that it was when Mr. Schneebly was hanging out with the kids.

He then sang one of the lines in the movie’s rendition of “In the End of Time” much to Black’s excitement.

While holding Abraham’s hand, Black then sang the song.

People around them were filming but none of them were as excited as Abraham.

It was definitely an experience that he will never forget.

“It’s almost been a week since the meet and Abraham is still talking about how he got to meet Jack,” says Veronica to Upworthy.

People in the comment section praised Black and his interaction with Abraham.

“Jack Black is truly a pure, humble, KIND soul! Very rare! Love him forever!” one comment said which ended in heart emojis.

“Jack Black has a kindness to him that you can hear in his voice. It’s always easy to forget that it doesn’t take much to do a kind deed, and being kind to others makes you happier, so it’s a win-win,” said another.
