Don’t you admire it when you see dancers perform?
They become one with the music and not only are they providing entertainment, but they are also expressing themselves through movement.
Last month, in the grand halls of the Intercontinental Hotel Budapest, Hungary, they held the 2023 Budafest.
And this couple stole the show.
It’s the event that showcases talented dancers and amazing entertainment.
That night, the West Coast Swing event was hosted by Brad Whelan.
Brad called in Thibault Ramirez.
The upbeat dancer then appeared on the dance floor.
There, he picked his dance partner for the Invitational Jack & Jill category.
If you’re not familiar with the term, this is a special form of Jack & Jill competition.
The couples are drawn randomly.
Then, even the song will be picked for them as they dance in spotlight form.
This special category will test a dancer’s creativity, willingness to work as a team, coordination, and how they can create a harmony of movements impromptu.
It’s not an easy category.
But many dancers have shown that it’s possible to flawlessly dance impromptu with someone else, other than your partner.
Thibault Ramirez picked a name, and he smiled as he saw the name.
He picked his wife, Nicole Ramirez.
The two lovebirds were so happy to be dancing together.
“I don’t think we should allow it,” Brad said jokingly.
For Brad, and the judges, their familiarity will give them an edge and will defeat the purpose of the contest, right?
This gave the audience another idea.
They will choose a partner for Nicole, and they decided on Jordan Frisbee.
Brad presented two choices for the song.
Jordan and Nicole must pick one.
The first one was a disco song, but both were not too enthusiastic about it.
Then, the other, the obvious winner, was the song “Man! I feel like a woman” by Shania Twain.
Brad told everyone that when it comes to West Coast Swing Europe’s idea of country music, there is only one name known to all, Shania Twain.
The talented dancers kicked it off.
We love how Nicole used her ponytail at the beginning of the dance, but what was unexpected was Jordan’s slay walk.
Even at the beginning of the dance, Jordan owned the song, and you can literally see him singing, “Man! I feel like a woman!”
Their footwork, as expected, was amazing.
It’s like they were gliding through the floor, and each swing will leave you wanting more.
Their dance was fun, playful, and spicy, too.
Jordan’s energy was contagious.
We love how he moved his hips, and Nicole’s hair twirls? Beyond adorable.
Jordan let loose at the chorus.
Everyone cheered for Jordan and Nicole, and overall, you can tell that these two had an awesome time with their performance.
