A themed flash mob is usually hilarious, especially when the dancers exaggerate on purpose.
Their singing and dancing become ten times funnier, and it everyone leaves with a smile. That’s what happened in this IKEA in Madrid.
With some planning, they put on the funniest ABBA-themed flash mob ever.
It all begins with some strange beeping sounds in the store.
The camera is on, and it looks like just another ordinary shopping day in IKEA.
The staff is cleaning the floors, random people are passing by…but for some reason something does look a bit suspicious. Everyone’s perfectly placed as if they were waiting for something. Then the beeping sound goes on and everyone starts turning around, trying to figure out where it’s coming from.
When the music begins, there is a sign of relief on many confused shoppers’ faces.
“Mamma Mia” starts playing, and the flash mob begins! All the workers mentioned earlier are dancing now. A cleaning lady, a policeman, a cashier—all of them deliver flawless choreography. The cleaning lady even uses her broom while dancing, and it’s hilarious.
As soon as people realize what’s going on, their faces instantly light up.
From performances like this, we get a perfect portrayal of the power music actually has on people. Nobody in the store expected it, and everyone in the crowd is so delighted!
There were so many dancers that some people simply jumped in and started following the choreography too!
It seems like the children were enjoying it the most, because there were so many kids dancing in the video—and it’s incredibly adorable. They’re just another way to to spontaneously make a dance routine even better! The show these people put on will be remembered for a long time.
In the end, everyone’s clapping their hands in the rhythm and the place turns into a full-blown party.
You can’t see a single person in the video who’s not smiling and laughing! We’re amazed by how something as simple as a four-minute dance can make everyone so happy, but it does.
There’s nothing like a dance flash mob to light up an everyday environment.
Normal working life can sometimes be bleak and full of struggle, but a thing like this makes everyone feel special and uplifts their spirits. It’s so great to see a group of strangers take their time to prepare something special the whole world can enjoy. It’s a way of uniting people that makes everyone feel that they’re important. The way these people came together to perform ABBA’s 1975 hit song is inspiring. As this video shows perfectly, all it takes is a little bit of dancing and a little bit of singing to get into a happy headspace!
Since the video was posted, it has earned more than eight million YouTube views.
This is the kind of video you turn to when you need some positive energy and optimism!
The comments section is full of people who said that the video made their day, and we have to agree—this is lovely. IKEA was a happy place that day. All the people in this video found quite a way to pay homage to a Swedish company with a song by the Swedish pop group.
