Many of us enjoy watching others dance, but only a few of us do actually dance. And that’s really a pity because dancing offers so many benefits to your physical and mental health that it’s worth giving it a try.

Obviously, people who dance are more fit than others who don’t do any kind of exercise. And the good thing is that dance can give you all the benefits of exercise like balance, stamina, or strength, while having fun.

Also, dancing challenges your brain and improves mental health, while it boosts cognitive performance, too.

But, apart from all the above, have you ever considered that dancing with a partner could give you the chance to meet interesting people? Maybe even end up marrying one of them?

Well, this is the case with many dancing partners, like Myles Munroe and his wife, Tessa Cunningham Munroe, who have been dancing together for the last 15 years.

Myles practically grew up on stage and, since the age of 8 years old, has been dancing non-stop. Tessa on the other hand, was a swimming coach and coach trainer before taking up dancing and focusing on West Coast Swing. At the same time, she studied Kinesiology and Education and she has been a public school educator for the past 10 years.

In the meantime, the couple dances together and the Munroes take part in international competitions, catching the eye of the audience every time.

One of their most impressive performances was during the US Open Showcase 2019, as you can see in the video below.

The host calls Myles and Tessa, the Canadian West Coast Swing Champions, on stage, and then the good part starts.

The couple begins their performance with a kiss. Then, the slow and sensual music starts playing and the guys’ moves, perfectly synchronized, catch the eye.

Their choreography is perfectly thought out and executed so that it follows the sounds of the music. None of their moves is simple or easy, although they make it look as if they were.

Tessa looks as if she’s not even touching the floor. Her elegant and airy moves, along with her cream-colored outfit, remind of a fairy, a creature that does not belong to this world, one that is hardly tangible.

While Tessa dances with grace, Myles is always there to lead her steps, to lift her up- literally- and to make sure she has the necessary support to shine.

Their decisive moves reveal that they have spent countless hours practicing this choreography, making it look so easy and effortless. Still, their performance is far from easy since it includes various acrobatic moves that draw the attention and, at some points, make the viewers hold their breath.

The video has been viewed by almost 8k people, and it has received many positive comments.

“Absolutely amazing! So wonderful you two!” someone wrote, while another YouTube user commented: “Wow I have goose bumps in all the places … this is the best one yet”, summarizing basically what we all feel when watching the duo’s dance.

Currently, the couple is organizing webinars that have to do with the role dance can play in our lives during these uncertain times.

Watch the two incredible dancers giving it all in their performance and enjoy!
