4-year-old girl startles dad by singing in two different languages

Maliya Kabs is only four years old, but she’s already a superstar in the making. With just a few years of life under her belt, young Maliya is quite the linguist and performer.

This young talent has already wowed the world through her rendition of Selena’s hit song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.”

With over 5 million views on the original YouTube video alone, this tiny lady is already growing quite the fan base.

We can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes by the age of ten! The young girl already has amazing vocal skills! She’s nothing but pure, raw talent.

The video clip begins as she explains to her dad that she’s already in the process of speaking a multitude of languages.

He doesn’t believe her, so she starts telling him about the various family members each teaching her a different language. The father continues to tease his little girl: “When I was your age, I knew Japanese, I knew Chinese, I could speak in 12 different languages.”

At this point, young Maliya has had enough of her dad’s incessant talking. After a bit too much chatter from dad, the young girl tells her father that it’s time to play the song.

Her following performance is nothing short of spectacular.

Someone, please get this girl a microphone and a proper stage because she is destined for stardom! Maliya doesn’t need a special occasion to bust out her favorite Selena lyrics because a simple car ride will suffice.

Maliya seems like the ideal road trip buddy. You’d never have to worry about getting bored when you have a free private concert going on in the backseat.

She’s even got the dance moves to back up her adorable vocals.

The dad’s jaw drops as his confusion slowly starts to set in. How on earth did his little girl learn the entirety of this Selena hit?

Young Maliya shouts out “Canta,” telling her dad to sing along, but he can’t understand the Spanish. Maliya has to explain to her dad that “canta” means “sing” in Spanish. He has absolutely no idea what’s going on anymore!

The young girl nudges dad to sing, so he gives it his best shot. The dad isn’t able to sing most of the lyrics! It appears that his daughter’s Spanish skills may be a tad higher than his.

She finally blurts out “Que?” then proceeds with telling her daddy “No, no, no, no, no, no.”

Maliya proceeds to put her seatbelt back on and tell her father “Let’s go.”

Her dad’s lyrics and singing abilities weren’t quite up to her standards. It looks like young Maliya has had enough of her father’s attempts to upstage her. She knows that she’s the real winner here.
