Some people have a natural gift for making their job way more fun than it should be! Take a moment and think about a job that HAS to happen, but most people don’t want to do it. Odds are, we’re probably thinking something similar!
Garbagemen are some serious troopers.
The small moment of me opening my trash lid outside to put a new bag is about as much bad smell as I can take. For garbagemen, it’s their job to handle the worst smells that humans can throw at them. Every week you can see them hopping on the back of a truck, only to move on with a smellier and smellier load.
These guys seem to have found a way to make their job a little more fun.
The Dancing Binmen are a group of “binmen” from Wolverhampton, UK. What we call garbagemen here in the US, the UK calls binmen. If we’re honest, binmen sounds much better! More than just having cooler names, this group of binmen have started making videos and posting on their YouTube channel.
If their name doesn’t give them away, the crew is known for their dancing!
Every so often, the guys will get together and plan a little dance during a certain stop on their route. The crew consists of three people, and they all have a blast dancing to whatever song is picked out for the video.
While their previous videos haven’t gotten much traction, this is their biggest hit yet!
YouTube takes time! Growing an audience is difficult and time-consuming, but these guys may have just hit the algorithm jackpot! The merry crew released a video of them dancing to a song we all know – Let’s Twist Again!
Chubby Checker is a classic, and you can’t help but dance!
The men are all wearing their full gear and standing around bright purple trashcans. Pointing to one of the guys in the back, the music starts, and the man leads the crew in some fun moves.
Even though it’s a simple dance, there are a few special moments!
After twisting for a minute or two, a saxophone solo breaks through the music, and they all pantomime the moment like they are the ones playing! At the core of the entire performance, it’s just a bunch of guys having fun and making light of their day.
My favorite moment is a bit of an Easter Egg!
An Easter Egg is something hidden that you might not catch right away. If you wait until around 1:15 on the timestamp, you can see a woman come out of her house and act totally baffled as to what’s going on! She lifts her hands and laughs at the men’s antics that she probably sees in a much more professional manner every week!
These guys make a tough job fun.
Taking their name as a joke and adding their own spin (or twist?), these hilarious guys are simply doing their job in a way they love. Having fun is such an important part of any job, and these binmen seem to have the skill mastered. Let’s see if they are going to hit the YouTube algorithm and make it big!
