As they say, no party is complete without a dance party!

Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding, or just hanging out, there’s something wildly compelling about just moving to the music surrounded by the people you love.

At one point, one of the most popular movements that arose from our affinity for dancing was flash mobs.

Starting around the early 2000s, these seemingly spontaneous performances took the world by storm.

And as far as flash mobs go, no event is safe and we love it!

In a video posted on YouTube by Melissa Labonte, a wedding couple and their guest were treated to a special dance number.

The ceremony was over and the guests were enjoying the first moments of the reception.

They were chatting with each other when the DJ started playing a tune made explicitly for dancing – it was no other than ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”

“Dancing Queen” is ABBA’s only song that hit the coveted number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s so good that even today, the song is played at various events much like this wedding.

At that moment, only two girls were on the dance floor when the iconic intro chimed in.

The guests, thinking that the dancers would only be a duo, started clapping and hollering.

The steps were suspiciously simple as if it was meant to be followed and danced along to.

Then, after the first chorus, a group of people cheered and joined the girls.

From two, the team became nine people.

People were slowly realizing what was happening so they cheered louder with some of them taking their phones out.

One by one, more members slipped onto the dance floor.

By the second chorus, more people joined in and pushed the room’s energy to the maximum.

If any of us were in there, there’s no doubt we’d be singing and dancing too!

People all over the internet loved the dance number so much.

And when you have your friends and family having the time of their lives at your wedding, your heart will burst with love too.

We’ve seen a lot of flash mobs before, but a lot of people peg this as one of their favorites.

“How lovely, everyone’s having fun and not taking it too seriously. This is the best one I’ve seen.” Said one commenter.

“This is one of my favorite videos on YouTube. Congratulations to everyone involved and, as for the brides, I wish you a lifetime of happiness.” Wished another.

Towards the end of the number, the group did something really sweet as well.

They pulled the newlyweds onto the center of the dance floor so they could take part in the revelry they’d prepared for the loving couple.

The couple did have a blast and gave everyone hugs and kisses.

It only goes to show that these performances will never go out of style just as long as they’re done with sincerity, confidence, and a lot of fun.
