Dance competitions have always been a site to see, especially in a large group performance. Many have joined such competitions, performing at their best to win the top spot.
Meet the Emerald Belles
They are one of the participants in the Showmakers of America Dance Competition. They have gathered a large fan base within the United States.
They dazzled the audience and judges alike with their high-kick dance routine.
They strive for excellence.
The group is a super-sized dance team from Southlake, Texas.
With over 20 years of experience in various competitions, they have won many state, national, and international titles under the direction of Melissa Page.
They keep the number between 70 and 100 girls yearly.
And they also entered Season 14 of America’s Got Talent, showcasing their High Kick routine. They’ve made it to the 3rd round and were featured live at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
In the Showmakers of America Dance Competition, the group’s High Kick dance routine was a spectacle.
The rapid movements and sharp lines, not to mention the various forms the team made during the routine.
Every movement was a mesmerizing hit.
High Kick is a dance technique that combines balance, flexibility, and posture. It may look simple, but the dancers took years of practice to master it.
But with the ladies from Carroll Senior High School, it just seemed effortless. Matched with blue tights in silver accents for costumes.
Just like a walk in the park.
Their routine starts in a triangle formation, with all, except one, of the girls lying on their backs row by row.
Then the standing dancer raised her leg, and they all changed positions in sync with Daft Punk’s music selection.
They are the vision of synchronicity.
This shows their years of hard work, dedication, and hours of practice to the craft have led them here. Each element performed perfectly. Not a single dancer has missed a beat.
As the song changes, so does their position.
Keeping the upbeat momentum and gracefulness.
You always see them smile and enjoy their time on the dance floor.
The costume design accentuated their moves and made them more vibrant from afar. And with so many dancers on the floor, the choice of their costumes was spot on.
From start to end, they kept their upbeat rhythm along with the music.
The vision of them scrambles the brain.
The crowds went wild.
Aside from competing, they have been featured in various basketball halftime shows and the like.

With the direction of Mrs. Page, the Southlake Carroll Varsity Emerald Belles have made a bond like a family.
She fosters an environment of kindness and positivity.
She believes that empowering the girls to be compassionate not just to their teammates but also to their peers in school and in their community.
