Ellen DeGeneres is famous for bringing viral sensations to her show and promoting their talent.
In this video, the guest on Ellen is 22-year-old Salif Gueye from France. He dances in the streets and performs some extremely well done Michael Jackson-inspired choreography.
Michael Jackson changed dance history with his iconic dance moves, and it’s no wonder that many dancers get inspiration from him. This young man practiced his dancing style to perfection and everyone in the studio was amazed after seeing him dance!
Gueye first revealed some funny information about himself and his dance.
In all, it’s a classic Ellen interview from the very beginning.
It all begins with the two of them sitting and chatting in a relaxed, humorous manner. Ellen asks Gueye a little bit about himself and he reveals some interesting information. He says that he has earned $1400 in tips in one day and even bought a new phone with the money. He also says that people give him weird things sometimes instead of money—things like phone numbers, candy and even condoms.
The way he describes it is very entertaining and the audience loves it.
Gueye describes it this way:
“When you do something, you go to date with someone and you need to protect yourself.”
It is very funny and his charisma is undeniable. He also adds that he never thought that he’d be on a show like Ellen and that it’s a dream come true.
And as soon as it comes time to dance, he busts a move perfectly!
When Ellen asks him to perform, he stands up, goes to the stage and starts dancing to the “Black or White.”
The audience claps and cheers loudly. It’s obvious that everyone in the studio is completely mesmerized by his incredible dancing! The audience had the awesome luck of seeing him perform live—and his moonwalk looks exactly like Michael Jackson’s.
He moves around the studio effortlessly while dancing.
The moment when he pulls himself up from the ground using only his leg muscles is probably one of the best parts of his choreography—it’s unbelievable! He has some amazing skills.
He even got a great promise from Ellen out of it as well.
Ellen was so impressed with his dancing that she promised to publish all his videos on EllenTube.
We think that he really deserves fame and recognition for his abilities, and it will be an amazing opportunity for him. Ellen also gave Gueye a white hoodie with some funny captions written on it. She told him to wear it the next time he dances.
On the front, it reads: “I danced on the Ellen show.”
Since it was posted, the video got more than three million views on YouTube.
Gueye has moonwalked his way around the world and has earned himself two million followers on Instagram out of it. Beyond that, 2019 has been a pretty busy year for him as well. Since he became quite famous, Gueye has been out promoting upcoming NBA games in Paris. He also participated as a dancing guest in many fashion launches and even gave Jada Pinkett-Smith a dance lesson.
We wish this man the very best with his future projects—it’s obvious that he will become even more famous and dance a lot more and in a lot more places worldwide.
