Bailey Pelkman and Randy Rektor are a married couple from Canada who are both talented musicians. On top of being individually gifted, they create spectacular covers as a duo and share them with the world through YouTube. They even released an album in 2018 called Acoustic Duets.
One of the couple’s performances that spread around the internet is a cover of a Stevie Wonder classic.
At the time of the video, Bailey and Randy hadn’t tied the knot yet. However, they were engaged and very much in love! So it makes sense that they decided to take on the 80s hit, “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” a tune that makes a lot of hearts go pitter-patter.
It’s a fabulous duet that’s been watched millions of times.
Randy starts out their performance playing his acoustic guitar and singing the lyrics. If you haven’t watched the couple’s videos before – prepare to be hypnotized. That’s because both Randy and Bailey have a beautiful voice!
Together they’ve covered all-time favorites like “Dancing Queen,” “Thinking Out Loud,” and “I Want You Back.”
When they sing the chorus it’s pure magic.
Not only do Bailey and Randy’s voices blend perfectly together, but you can tell how strong the couple’s bond is simply by how they look at each other. Then mixed with a ballad about being head over heels in love? It doesn’t get any more heartwarming than that!

When she takes over singing in the video it’s hard not to get lost in her dreamy voice. But really, she brings beauty to all of the songs she sings. On YouTube, she cutely describes herself as:
“…a music-creating, song-loving, instrument-playing, cookie-eating, animal-petting, laugh-a-lot kinda gal.”
It’s a song that might beam you back.
“I Just Called to Say I Love You” topped the charts, won prestigious awards, and is among Stevie Wonder’s greatest hits. It was featured on the soundtrack of the 1984 film The Woman in Red, which starred Gene Wilder and Kelly LeBrock. While the movie might not ring a bell for everyone – the song sure became a huge success!
They uploaded their duet for fans on Valentine’s Day (what a perfect day to do so).
In the video description for their performance it says:
