DLO3 jumps right in, and they start off by playing “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.

KEXP’s cameraman switches from musician to musician as they all jam out. Before long, Delvon comes in with his organ and adds that extra funky sound.

After the popular Curtis Mayfield song, DLO3 switches to their own original song “Memphis.”

“Memphis” is off of DLO3’s album Concussion, it’s a super melodic and soulful song by the soul and jazz band that easily grabs the crowd’s attention. Their music is infectious, and something about it makes you want to get up and dance.

After they’re done playing “Memphis,” they switch things up to perform some impromptu music that really gets the audience at Little London Plane fired up.

For the last song they play, DLO3 decides to do an improv jam-session together that really takes things up a notch.

If they didn’t already blow the audience away with the first two songs, the third one definitely knocked them off their feet!

Guitarist Jimmy James goes off on a rampage, playing a solo that has him in a trance. With his band paying the baseline, James makes his guitar scream and it’s so exciting to watch.

After Jimmy plays a ridiculously long and fabulous solo, DLO3 breaks back into a smooth and mellow jazz beat that’s so easy to vibe to.

For the grand finale, all three musicians go crazy on their instruments and go out with a bang.
