Many would agree that now is the perfect time for a ray of sunshine in our world, which is why it’s also the perfect time for a new video from Claire Ryann Crosby.
The young internet star has been lifting our spirits with musical performances since she was three-years-old. Get ready for her to do it all over again with her heartwarming rendition of, “I Know That My Redeemer Lives.”
Claire, who’s now seven, lives in Washington with her parents and two younger siblings. She has a passion for singing that began to show when she was just a baby.
According to her Facebook page, it all started on a night back in 2014. Claire’s dad Dave would sing her the same lullaby at night, and had done so since she was born. At about 18-months-old Claire stunned her dad by singing the lullaby back – knowing all the words and “hitting every pitch.”
Claire comes from a musical family who’ve always supported her singing talent.
The Crosbys currently have more than 2.5 million subscribers to their YouTube channel and Claire has over 3.8 million Facebook followers! On her page, they share:

It all started with one video…
When Claire turned three, she fell in love with Disney’s The Little Mermaid and the film’s hit song “Part of Your World.” One day, Dave decided to record his daughter singing it in a studio he put together in their home.
After posting the video on social media it spread like wildfire and tiny Claire captured the internet’s heart.
Over the past several years, Claire’s covered numerous popular tunes in videos that have spread joy to fans.
In addition to solos, she’s known for performing duets with her dad Dave, including one that also went hugely viral. Their adorable version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” has over 29 million YouTube views.
It even led to them giving a special performance of the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (which isn’t their only appearance). Together, they make quite the daddy and daughter duo!
Claire’s once again bringing a smile to people’s faces with the release of her new video, “I Know That My Redeemer Lives.”
The seven-year-old vocalist is filmed singing the hymn with breathtaking scenery in the background. While Claire’s performances are known for lifting souls, the blending of her voice with the inspirational lyrics is extra powerful, especially during this time.
“I Know That My Redeemer Lives” is a religious hymn with lyrics that come from Samuel Medley and music from Lewis D. Edwards. According to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints website, it appeared in the 1835 LDS hymnbook.
It’s difficult not to get chills listening to angelic Claire sing:
“He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.”
