As far as mash ups and collaborations go for Christmas songs this year, this would have to be in anyone’s top five. Just wait until you hear it. With so many Christmas songs with each having numerous renditions, it’s not easy to catch people’s attention.

Not unless the singers have over the top skills. And in this case, both groups do.

The popular boy band and new country girl band both hail from Nashville and are both known for their Christian backgrounds and faith-themed songs.

Olivia Charnes, Lauryn Evans and Madny Allyn make up Charlotte Ave and have proven themselves to be more than just viral sensations with pretty faces. Most of their work are dated 2020. That’s how new they are to the scene.

Most of their releases are medleys.

Chad Graham, Alan Powell, Kyle Kupecky and Caleb Grimm made up Anthem Lights. They were once called Yellow Cavalier but changed it upon signing with Reunion Records. Joseph Stamper and Spencer Kane eventually took over Kyle and Alan.

Kyle says,

“These songs [and] this record is our anthem to the world saying, “Listen, we know there’s a lot of darkness in this life, but in the end, light is gonna win.” And we wanna be the light to people and just show them who the light of the world is.”

That makes sense. And the new name has a better ring to it too.

Mary, did you know?” and “Breath of heaven” are songs that seem to echo Mary’s thoughts as she received the news of carrying Jesus and her ordeal as a mother the whole time. It really makes the listener think! It’s not easy being a mother. What more the mother of the Messiah?

These two groups dig deep from within and unleash their Christian roots for this one. It’s a mix of faith, heart, and talent as both men and women unleash their vocal prowess for this Christmas medley.

Doctor Phil commented,

“What just happened? Overwhelming vocal harmonies of 2 masterful songs. Truly a gift that we need in this difficult time. Thank you all!”

Now depending on your source, ancient Jewish customs often point to the fact that girls were betrothed or married young. Which would put Mary anywhere from 12 to 15. For a young girl that age to see an angel and receive the news that she is to carry the Son of God? You get it.
