When you’re going on an audition, you experience all sorts of emotions.
There’s the fear of not getting in and the worry of not being able to deliver the performance you want.
There’s also the idea of people not liking what you’ve prepared for them.
When Belinda Davids stepped on Britain’s Got Talent stage, she was absolutely nervous.
In fact, she was shaking as she stepped on stage. Being in front of tons of people can do that to you.
Plus, there were big stars there to judge how good she was.
Belinda was like any other aspiring artists.
In the brief interview before her performance, she shared that she joined BGT because she wanted to further her career.
Another thing she pointed out was that she likes to perform mostly Whitney Houston songs.
Her choice was One Moment in Time.
If you’ve grown up hearing the song, you’d know that it’s not an easy piece to sing.
Even those who had formal vocal training couldn’t deliver it as well as Whitney Houston.
Belinda didn’t disappoint.
Even though she felt her heart mostly up in her throat, she delivered the song with such perfection.
In fact, she sounded very much like Whitney when she was singing. With a 4-octave vocal range, she made everyone in the venue stand up.
She did that even though she wasn’t formally trained to sing that excellently.
Ultimately, she earned 4 yes votes from the judges, causing her to qualify for the next round.
She was so good that all the judges have great things to say about her and her performance.
After her piece, David Williams commented:
“You created such a massive moment tonight for all of us.”
Simon Cowell said:
“This was just a fantastic end to a fantastic tour, I absolutely adore you.”
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden said:
“You have the ability to move us with your voice. That was great.”
Alesha Dixon commented:
“What a way to close an amazing run of auditions with a class act. I want to see the name Belinda Davids in lights. You are amazing.”
Even the people on the internet were amazed by her performance.

“I’ve heard a hundred Whitney sound alikes and none of them ever came close to this woman’s voice. I closed my eyes and saw our beautiful Whitney!
Although Belinda showed an impressive performance throughout the competition.
Belinda has held several musical concerts and appeared in different TV shows.
She has also gone to tour several places throughout the country.
Belinda has earned the hearts of tons of fans across the United States, New Zealand, South Africa, and Asia.
Her performances continue to get glowing and impressive reviews.
