Kids’ fashion shows are always fun to watch.
There, we don’t just get to see adorable children donning beautifully designed clothes but we also see their innocent reaction when something goes wrong.
Just like on any other runway, there would be mishaps, stumbles, and falls.
The most adorable runway fall you’d ever see.
More than 5 years ago in Shanghai, China, a group of fashion model kids melted tens of millions of people around the world.
The fashion show was held for a China-based brand called IKAMILLER or Ika Miller children’s clothing.
In the video, three little cute models were doing what they were told and that was to showcase the brand’s items.
However, what they thought was going to be a usual cute runway show turned into an absolute moment of pure fun and amusement.
The video started with two fashion model kids heading back while another kid was just starting to show off his modeling skills.
As it turned out, the two kids went in the wrong direction and ended up tangling up with the other kid.
We can’t blame them, they were just strictly following orders to “Hold your hands tight.”
The other kid fell down on his side but didn’t break character because he was still all smiles.
That’s what caught the people’s hearts, his professionalism mixed with lots of cuteness.
His name is Zhang Yaoyang.
He was only 4 years old when the incident happened and it was actually the first fall in his then two years of career as a model.
Usually, a kid would cry when they fall down and get hurt, but not Zhang Yaoyang.
Instead of crying, he just flashed his warmest smile and continued as if nothing happened.
Not to discredit the other kid who fell and was all smiles too.
Little Zhang was just different in handling such a situation because he didn’t feel embarrassed at all.
The audience was actually laughing and commending the kids for still a job well done and for not stopping despite what happened.
The video was uploaded on different social media platforms and gained tens (if not hundreds) of millions of views.
This YouTube video in particular was uploaded by a channel called ‘South China Morning Post’ and amassed over 22 million views.
Almost everyone in the comment section was commending the kids for not acting up during such circumstances.
One viewer commented, “The way he laughed and got kinda shy while holding his both hands and looking down, he knew he was melting a millions hearts there”
While another one wrote, “Most people who fall in the middle of a fashion show would not be able to continue their part properly cause of feeling embarrassed or anxious for example, then there’s this champ who played it cooler than a frozen cucumber and stole the hearts of millions.”
We are definitely so lucky to have kids around us. They unknowingly make us smile in an instant even without them exerting too much effort.
