If you’re a parent or grandparent of a small child, then you know first-hand just how wonderful it is to see them perform on stage. Even if they aren’t that great, it doesn’t matter. Just watching them give it their all, missteps included, is enough to put a smile on your face. But once in a while, a youngster does something truly amazing.

It’s Wonder Woman

Okay, so it’s actually a four-year-old girl but with the performance she gives, it’s clear that she thinks she’s this iconic character. Wearing an adorable costume, she walked on the stage looking confident. And what she did next proved she was quite special.

So young yet incredibly talented

At that age, the audience never knows what kind of performance they’re going to see. But as soon as the music started, this young girl let them know she meant business. After striking her initial pose, she goes right into the theatrics.

She’s the full package

From her amazing Wonder Woman costume to her fantastic moves to the expressions on her face, this girl is the real deal. And she hasn’t performed any fancy tricks yet. But only seconds into her routine, the crowd is already mesmerized.

Such poise

As she goes into her first standing split, you can hear people gasp. She nails it. Next, she makes her way toward the front of the stage to perform her next move. And it’s just as impressive as the first. The level of her talent is hard to believe, especially considering her age.

Well beyond her years

Although the moves themselves aren’t overly complex, it’s her technique as she performs them that sets her apart from other dancers. It takes years of practice to perfect what she did and again, she’s only four. That means she’s only been dancing a few years but she’s already amazing.

Seamless and powerful

As she continues with floor moves, you can’t help but feel in awe of her ability. Making her performance even more special is how she becomes the character. She’s not just a cute girl dressed up like Wonder Woman but a powerful dancer who portrays the character perfectly.

Kicking it into high gear

When the video starts, the chosen song, “Holding Out for a Hero,” is slow. But about a quarter way through, the tempo speeds up. For this girl, that’s not an issue. She just dances faster but without missing a beat. If anything, she gets better.

Fantastic moves

As the song continues, this precious girl throws in some even harder moves. At that point, the audience is completely quiet. It’s almost as though they hate to breathe in fear that they’ll miss something. You have to give this kid kudos.

The video went viral

This dance number was a part of the KAR dance competition held in Baltimore two years ago. The girl, who dances for the C&C Dance Company is a shining star. At the end of the competition, she went on to win first overall Miss Petite. That’s quite an accomplishment.

Real possibilities

We’re not sure if she’s still dancing today but we sure hope so. Just imagine. If she was this good at the age of four, she has real potential for a dance career as she gets older. Now, that’s what you call a memorable performance.
