The internet has opened the door for so many funny children going viral for their hilarious shenanigans.
That was the case with then six-year-old Katie, who went viral with millions of views simply for asking if she could go to the pub with her dad in the most adorable and funny way.
This will have you laughing from start to finish!
Little Katie felt left out because she couldn’t go to the pub with her father, and tried to pull out all the stops to convince her mom.
Katie is a seven-year-old from Ireland who went viral without even trying for a hilarious exchange she had with her mother. It all started when she found out that her dad was going to the pub to celebrate the woman’s soccer team that he coaches.
You see, Katie’s two aunts play on this soccer team, and being that she goes to all the games as their biggest fan, she thought it was only right that she got to celebrate with the team.
The video starts with Katie begging her mother to go to the pub, but mommy isn’t budging on this one. The hysterical conversation begins with Katie’s pleas to go with her dad, but her mom swiftly shuts the idea down.
We all know how kids are when a simple “no” will not do the trick.
“You’re not going to the pub,” says Katie’s mother.
Like all little kids, Katie asks “Why?” Her mother responds that she’s just a child. Katie counters by saying, “Yeah but I went a couple of times mom.”
When Katie’s mom explains that she’s “little,” the young girl is offended and tries to tell her mom how big she actually is.
Anyone with little kids knows that whatever age they are, it’s still big-girl status to them. That’s why when Katie’s mom calls her “little,” the young girl isn’t having it.
“I’m six,” Katie sternly says as she holds up six fingers.
She goes on to say:
“Why can I not go to the pub? Older kids get to go to the pub and then I don’t get to go to the pub. Remember it was going to be Colby’s party, and it was too late, and I had to go to bed, and I had to stay home and Melly and Tony got to go to the pub?”
The hilarious conversation carries on while Katie even tries to trade in her bingo night for the pub.
Katie continues to beg and plea with her mother before suggesting that she’ll trade in her bingo night tomorrow in order to go to the pub that night.
When nothing she says is working, Katie turns the tables and begins telling on her father in the most adorable way possible.
With nothing else to lose, she pulls out all the stops!
Katie says:
“All the time when you’re gone, he thinks he gets his own way and everything. He thinks that he can go on his phone and he thinks that he doesn’t have to spend time with me. And he pretends he’s cleaning when you’re gone and doesn’t really clean. I go into the kitchen because I’m hungry and then he’s on his phone!”
At this point, Katie’s mom can’t help but lose it with laughter and we can’t blame her.
At the very end of the video, Katie reiterates that “she’s six” and is appalled that “her own mother won’t let her go to the pub.”
After this went viral, Katie began posting videos to her own YouTube channel Little Irish Girl Katie that are also super comical.
