Music speaks to the soul. That’s why so many people dance to it. Whether hitting a club for a night of fun or watching professionals on stage, there’s just something magical about it. Yes, it’s exciting to see adults perform. But once in a while, young kids come along who surprise everyone.

The Cha-Cha

When it comes to Latin music, the Cha Cha is an example of its true form. Originally, this Cuban dance style was known as the Danzon. But by adding a triple step, it evolved into what’s now known as the Cha-Cha. Due to its level of technicality, it’s not the easiest style to learn and perform.

An unbelievable video

As mentioned, on rare occasions, children with unrivaled talent enter the dance scene. That’s the case for Maria Rosaria and Antonio, a young boy, and a girl. After uploading a video of a performance that they did in 2015, it didn’t take long for it to reach more than 28 million views.

A brief interview

At the start of the video, an announcer spends just a few minutes talking to them. It appears there’s a rather large crowd in attendance. But for these two, that doesn’t seem to bother them one bit.

Posed to begin

Then, they position themselves, waiting for the music to start. They’re both so adorable. She’s dressed in a glittery gold outfit while he’s wearing black emblazed with gold. Even though they’re so young, you can tell by the look on their faces that they take dance seriously.

The magic begins

As soon as the first note plays, they lift their heads and quickly wow the audience. They turn their bodies to the side, which gives viewers the first hint of their technical abilities. The stance they hold is quite impressive.

Perfect synchronization

From the start, they move their arms, legs, and hips in perfect harmony. Here’s the thing about the Cha Cha. This style is considered sensual and sexy. But just because these dancers are young, they have to incorporate all of the right moves. Otherwise, they wouldn’t do the dance justice.

A powerhouse duo

These two don’t hold back and they shouldn’t. With each step, they remain synchronized. But adding to the performance is the fact they use amazing facial expressions. Often, that’s hard for kids but not Maria Rosaria and Antonio.

They nail it

The longer this pair dances the better they get. You can see their level of confidence growing with every step. We’re not kidding…these two are beyond fantastic.

Incredible instruction

Although there’s no mention of their dance instructor, whoever that person is should feel immensely proud. For the Cha Cha, as well as many other Latin dance styles, hip action is so important. Maria Rosario and Antonio might be young but they’ve got that part of the dance, as well as the rest, down to a fine art.

Real professionals

No one thought anything about their age. Instead, the only thing people focused on was their talent. In all honesty, these two are far better than a lot of adults who’ve danced much longer. They’re a true joy to watch. Hopefully, they’ve continued on with their passion.
