Well, they’re not in West Virginia. And like Dorothy, they’re certainly not in Kansas.
In fact, this performance comes right out of Western Australia!

Emily’s from Western Australia, but she’s not unfamiliar with the United States!
In fact, she’s traveled to the States to follow her dreams of becoming a country singer!
Though she’s continued to dabble more and more in American culture, she’s never abandoned her Australian roots.

Emily’s not only a singer with the voice of an Australian angel…
She’s also a songwriter!
The prolific singer-songwriter has a handful of amazing songs.
But that doesn’t stop her from dabbling in covers and the songs of other artists!
Like most vocalists, she deeply respects and learns from other all-time greats. John Denver is right up her alley – or road!

Emily and Luke play from the heart. And the results are glorious.
Country roads aren’t exactly the most habitable places for humans.
And they’re not usually the setting of a music video.
But these two make it work.
Actually, they make it more than work! They’re musical masters!
They’re putting on a virtual show for the entire world… from a random Australian trail!
Emily’s beautiful vocals continue atop cascading guitar plucks.

Emily had some legitimate concerns during the performance. At the end of the performance, you can even hear her allude to her fear of snakes!
“I felt like a snake was gonna come out and bite me.”
Well, we’re certainly glad that one didn’t!
