Allie is a regular busker on Grafton Street in Dublin.
We are talking about a very talented girl whose massive success at such a young age is quite impressive.
Allie Sherlock is an Irish singer, songwriter, guitarist, and busker. Being only 15 years old, Allie has already attracted 3.11 million YouTube subscribers and 1.3 million Instagram followers. We’ve checked her social network profiles, and the content is amazing.
From Adele to Stevie Wonder to Ed Sheeran and The Cranberries—the girl sings it all!
And while we’re at Ed Sheeran’s songs let’s mention that it was the video of “Supermarket Flowers” that made her famous in 2017. The video went viral, and she appeared on Ellen in 2018 where she completely amazed everyone with her performance of “A Million Years Ago” by Adele.
Her voice cracks beautifully.
From the very beginning of the video, or any Allie’s performance, one thing comes straight across: the girl is very talented.
Both her singing and those guitar playing skills are completely on point. Who would have guessed that she’s only started playing guitar six years ago? There must be a lot of practice going on behind the camera. Speaking of the camera, you’ll notice how comfortable the young lady is while being filmed.
That’s because her father is filming and uploading all of her videos.
We think it’s beautiful when a parent is devoted like that, and Allie has got the support she needs to reach the stars! A lot of us could learn from this example. Not only does the girl get the support she needs, but her parents also supervise and protect her.
She’s on Grafton Street, there is a mic in front of her, and the crowd gathers around from the moment she starts singing.
Who would have thought that the movie title would apply so perfectly to Allie’s act, but it does.
The girl is a true star and a complete package. The talent is undeniable, her stage presence is powerful and confident, and her charisma is the best part of the show. You can see that she touched the heart of all those people in her audience. When she’s about to hit high notes, there is some definite excitement on the crowd’s faces!
No one is even blinking, waiting to hear if she’s going to deliver that perfectly.
She does. The best part of the video is probably two little girls who stand right in front of Allie. They look at her with so much admiration, and that’s the second you realize what kind of role model our children should have.
In 2018, Sherlock signed a five-year contract with Patriot Records.
As most of us know, Patriot Records is owned by One Republic lead vocalist Ryan Tedder.
We’re glad to hear that this incredible girl is signed, the time will show her full potential. In 2020, Allie was part of a collective of female artists called “Irish Women in Harmony.”
They recorded a version of “Dreams,” originally performed by The Cranberries, which became a symbol of a battle against domestic violence.
