J Crew is from Jade’s Hip Hop Academy in Brampton, Ontario. At the time of the performance, the boys were between seven and nine-years-old and part of the school’s “youngest competitive dance crew.”

They took the stage for a street-style dance routine that was choreographed by Founder and Artistic Director, Jade Jager Clark. Get ready to be wowed by J Crew’s awesome moves that have the audience cheering throughout their performance.

J Crew’s act is set to a mixture of upbeat and soulful tracks. Combined with their popping, locking, breaking, and hip hop moves – it’s a unique video that might have you grooving along in your seat.

Dressed in matching outfits and hats, the boys dance in unison to the music. Seriously, can you believe they’re all under ten-years-old with skills like these?

There’s even some “King of Pop” in the performance.

Less than a minute in, the crew shifts their dance to go along with Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt So Good” (a posthumous duet created with Justin Timberlake). They move smoothly on the stage like the late legendary artist, then awesomely jump into the splits. It’s hard not to smile watching the five dancers channel their inner-Jackson.

Suddenly, there’s another change in music and J Crew’s routine takes a turn too. Their street-style moves pair perfectly with the funky beat.

One can only imagine how much hard work, practice, and dedication it took for the youngsters to be so talented. But really, it all shines through in their performance.

Jade’s Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) was established in 2006 and is a youth dance school that’s no stranger to bringing home awards and making great accomplishments.

According to their website, dancers from the academy were featured on The Ellen Degeneres Show and their performances have been recognized on social media by stars like Missy Elliot, Paula Abdul, Dwayne Johnson, and more.

JHHA is unique in Toronto, as it’s the only all street dance and hip hop school there. It’s also “one of the few of its kind in Canada.” Their website explains a little background:

“Owner and Artistic Director Jade Jager Clark is focused on educating students in authentic hip hop and street dance foundations, technique and history … Students don’t just learn choreography at JHHA, they are taught HOW to dance with better understanding of movement, rhythm, musicality and performance.”
