Michael Jackson’s 1987 hit song “Bad” from the album of the same name is iconic, and critics commented that it helped give MJ an edgier image.

The album Bad followed the biggest-selling LP in the history of music, Thriller. Jackson’s 1982 album became a cultural phenomenon, and it was understandably hard to out-thrill it.

Having all this in mind, you must be thinking that there’s no version of MJ’s songs that can surprise you.

Well, we might have an ace up our sleeve to convince you otherwise. Watch the fastest-talking man perform “Bad” in just 20 seconds.

As unbelievable as it might sound, John can articulate 586 words per minute.

It’s not hard to do some math and realize that the man doesn’t even need a second to pronounce a word. Anyway, Moschitta built a successful career as a character actor, spokesman and singer. His rapid talking made him famous relatively quickly, and John provided the voice for Blurr in Transformers, Transformers: The Movie and Transformers: Animated. All that is great, but we were astonished after hearing him cover MJ’s “Bad” faster than we could ever imagine possible.

Moschitta has performed for eight U.S. Presidents and completed hundreds of commercials.

He was named the Most Effective Spokesman in the History of Advertising. The most notable thing about Moschitta is his charity work. He has raised over $20 million conducting live auctions. John’s fans joke that he’s the man who speaks in doctor’s handwriting!

He became aware of his skills at the age of 12.

The video is just a part of John’s 1987 interview with Marcus Jones.

It all begins with footage of some commercials John did, and then he starts explaining how his career took off. We must warn you, John talks extremely fast. We had to slow down the video, and still had trouble understanding him. It’s not that he doesn’t pronounce the words clearly—to the contrary, John pronounces each word incredibly well. The problem is that the brain is overwhelmed by so much information at once, and we didn’t know what to focus on first! Either way, hitting replay was inevitable.

Moschitta jokes that he had to learn to talk fast because he grew up in a family with five sisters, he had to speak fast if he wanted to present any self-defense.

The interviewer then mentions that John published a book called 10 Minutes of University. The man condensed four years of learning into ten minutes of listening.

Finally, the interviewer asks for John’s rendition of “Bad,” and we get what we’ve been waiting for all along.

Moschitta takes the newspaper with “Bad” lyrics and starts talking about the song.

The way he fastly reads “cause I’m bad, bad, come on, come on” is hilarious. Imagine if Michael Jackson sang it like that. As it was promised, Moschitta reads the whole song in 20 seconds and comments that the reading wasn’t bad. The whole thing leaves the interviewer speechless!

When John wanted to set the Guinness World Record, his talking was caught on tape, then played in slow motion.

The board had to do it to verify that every word was pronounced correctly.

It’s not enough to talk fast—every word has to be correct. We bet that over 96 million YouTube viewers were speechless after watching Moschitta! He has a great talent and a remarkable gift that continues to amaze us.
