The hottest new dance show on TV is finally returning! After a successful first season, World of Dance is coming back, with the same three judges and host from last season.
Dance veterans Jenna Dewan, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough are back, along with superstar Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo, Derek, and Ne-Yo act as the judges on the show, while Jenna is the host.
Each member of the World of Dance team has a long history as a dancer and performer. Jenna became famous after starring in Step Up with her estranged former husband, Channing Tatum.
NeYo is a singer, dancer, record producer who has been in the business for two decades now. Ne-Yo has always been known for his vibrant dance performances throughout his singing career.
Derek Hough might not be a familiar name to people who didn’t watch Dancing with the Stars. Derek won the Mirror Ball trophy several times over the course of the show and he’s also an established choreographer.
As if J. Lo needs any introduction! And boy, does she know it. When she makes her entrance in this dance-off, you can tell that she knows her star power.
J.Lo turns 49 this year, but she can dance better than anyone half her age. She’s been killing it during her Las Vegas residency and other celebs from around the country have praised her for it.
To drum up excitement for the new season of World of Dance, the judges, and host of the show faced off on the dance floor. Boy, did it get crazy!
This video already has 3.5 million views on Facebook in just under 24 hours, along with 3,000 likes and over 1,000 comments.
After the dance was over, fans of the show head to the comments section on YouTube to voice their opinions.
One commenter said there is no question on who won:
No question!!! Derek killed them all!! The precision in his movements, synchronization, fluidity.. he’s a beast!
And it’s funny when I think about it now.. He stated at one point that
Les twin had somewhat of overconfidence/cockiness to them that somewhat off putting.. eh em, as does he, which i like! Kill the competition!! Let em know this ain’t a game
While another commenter felt that there was definitely a tie between two of the judges:
its a tie between derek and jenna for me , neyo was good just was more swag than dance the back flip impressed me , JLO…. nice outfit girl lol
