Ballerina on a bicycle shows the world her incredible moves

October 8th, 2020

Art is the expression of the soul. It is the conduit for releasing emotions and ideas that one can’t seem to put into words. It can come in many different forms such as painting, music, dancing, and cycling.

Yes, that’s right, cycling. Nobody would ever think using a bike would gather artistic appreciation, but thanks to the incredible talent of Germany’s Viola Brand, it now does. She blends both the tender aspects of ballet dancing with the graceful balance and endurance of cycling to form one incredible art form.

Viola began practicing ballet and riding bicycles at a very young age. She’s appeared on TV shows and music videos and has really bolstered her image with her unique talent. A recent video shows Viola practicing a bike ballet in a very fancy ballroom located inside of a castle.

This video is attributed to Viola’s YouTube Channel, where she shows her love for cycling and ballet. It commences with Viola front stage in the ballroom with her pink dress and bicycle. She then begins to adjust her bike carefully as she is able to balance herself on the rear wheel.

Immediately, Viola spins into a controlled frenzy as she maintains balance with her arms lifted.

The amazing trick demonstrates Viola’s skill and her smile indicates she’s having a ball of a time. This is what it looks like to be free doing what you love.

Transitioning to her next move, the talented cyclist begins to pedals around the room in reverse with complete ease. Suddenly, she raises her arms and begins to rotate with only her legs holding on the bike. Her grace is simply breathtaking as she makes it look stupidly easy in how much control she’s able to manage.

The show’s just begun as Viola whips out another trick under her sleeve. This time, she balances on one wheel, however, she’s balancing it by facing towards the front of the bicycle while keeping the front wheel just safely between her legs. It’s a little scary to think one small mistake, and the injuries could be catastrophic.

Those ideas don’t seem to bother Viola as she fearlessly takes on these stunts with exuberance and confidence brimming beyond the ballroom floor.

When you thought she didn’t have more in the tank, Viola proves the doubters wrong with a balancing act for the ages.

She climbs to stop her bike seat and uses great strength and poise to keep herself balanced. This one definitely stole the show! The level of mastery is evident: Viola has the right stuff.

The trick evolves further as she now is balanced on top of her handlebars! There you have it ladies and gentlemen: a true prodigy is in the works.

Her video caption reads, “this beautiful castle was made for doing a bike by the video in there with the chandelier and everything. But wait, does bicycle ballet exist? I don’t think so, but since the video, I would say yes. To be honest I was afraid of breaking the chandelier while doing the pirouettes.”

Viola’s stunts are made to inspire anyone that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. She’s hoping to inspire the next generation to dream big and follow their hearts no matter how big or small the endeavor.

For the record, Viola did make a video trying to attempt a handstand on water. She did fail miserably many many times over, but at least it was a reminder that she is human after all and does have flaws.
