When it comes to big events, weddings may just be the most fun. After all, two people come together to build a life. What could be more beautiful than that? Plus, it’s a chance to let loose and just have a good time.

After exchanging “I do’s,” comes the wedding reception. That’s when things get fun. But sometimes, couples take things to the next level. When there’s music, dancing, and theatrics involved, you know it’s going to be a blast. That’s why so many people make their wedding dances more elaborate than ever.

That includes a wedding from 2016

It may seem like a long time ago…it’s only been four years since we’ve seen 2016. A wedding in Australia might’ve just had the coolest wedding party entrance in history. It was so amazing it received more than 2 million views on YouTube.

Just a normal entrance…

…at least in the beginning. The reception starts with a man reading off the names of the people in the wedding party. Holding the doors open are two people ready to let them in. Even before the music begins to play, there aren’t any signs of things being out of the ordinary.

And that’s when the speakers blare

All of a sudden, the pop hit “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson starts to play. A woman in a red dress and matching sneakers comes through of the doors. She starts to play air guitar along with the song.

She also sings

The woman sings the first verse of the popular song. You can tell nobody at the wedding was expecting something this extravagant. But in listening to the music, guests couldn’t resist tapping their toes to the rhythm. They were getting into the music right away.

The chorus begins

Once the chorus starts, the groomsmen come out and start to dance. They’re all black suits, red ties, and hats that cover their faces. Their entrance has a funky vibe that matches the mood of the music.

They hit the dance floor

The groomsmen make their way to the dance floor to show off their fancy footwork. They may not be professional dancers, but they’re giving it their all. Most importantly, it looks like they’re having a great time.

The bridesmaids get their turn

But wait…it can’t be all about the guys, right? The bridesmaids come out next. They’re all dressed in red to match the woman who’s singing. Next, they dance their way onto the dance floor with the groomsmen. After all, they want to show off their moves, too.

One big dance party

Throughout the song, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen perform a choreographed dance. But this was anything but traditional…it was a lot more fun. From the smiles on their faces, they’re having an exceptional time.

The moment everyone was waiting for

Finally, maid of honor who’d been singing, announces the bride and the groom. They looked amazing together. The bride wore a gorgeous white gown while the groom was decked out in a handsome suit. Dancing to the same song, they head to the dance floor.

It was a huge success

There’s a good chance this dance was challenging to pull off. But this couple got it right. They had an epic reception entrance that they and others will remember forever. Let’s just hope their friends forgive them for making them learn a dance for their big day.
