When celebrating love, it has to be a party!
As solemn and as meaningful as weddings are, the reception is where everybody gets to lay it all out. Friends and families from both sides get to mingle, drink, talk, and even dance. Everyone is young at wedding receptions!
And where the newly weds get to dance the night away, it’s up to them if they want to sway slowly with a romantic song, r like these two, just forget tradition and cut a rug!
There’s no ban on dancing here!
Clad in traditional black and white, husband and wife give each other a little smile before a catchy drum beat comes in. Their guests know it and soon they’re all clapping and cheering when that signature guitar riff from “Footloose” comes in.
It’s not some ordinary dance by your own kind of thing either. This newly pronounced man and wife can move! They throw in a bit of ballroom in there. There’s a hint of Swing and funk too!
That’s fancy footwork!
It’s just a fun, twirl each other around, and kick off those Sunday shoes type of energy from these two. It’s a wonder no one joined in. Sure it was rehearsed but the vibe from these two is so inviting!
They weren’t trying to play Ren and Ariel either. They are Ivana and Ivan, the newlyweds!
If you haven’t seen Footloose done with the Swing, then check out these two. Where most people would imitate the moves from the film, Ivan and Ivana did it all in their own style. It is their night after all!

Ivana and Ivan went out of their way to rehearse this dance not just for themselves but for all their guests as well. It goes to show how selfless these two are and how much they appreciate their family and friends. It’s not just their love they’re celebrating but the love they have for everyone as well.
Who knows what journey these two had before the big day? Relationships aren’t easy, much less making the decision to spend the rest of your life with someone. Ivana and Ivan made it. And look how happy they are!
A little spin, a kick here and there, and a dip!
Those white outfits look really good bathed in purple light too. Almost luminescent especially when they move around. Ivan and Ivana are all over the dance floor it’s a wonder they didn’t hit the cameramen!
Ivan is a really good lead too. Ivana looks a little nervous at times but hey it’s all for the love of her man! Her family and guests could care less anyway. What’s important is everyone is happy. Full bellies all around!
It’s a big finish for Ivan and Ivana and everyone is just beyond happy for the newlyweds. The dance doesn’t stop there. There’s a bigger song to start stepping to. The dance of life. It’s teamwork and choreography from this night onwards.
