We Three came back to America’s Got Talent and they came armed with music that will make you teary eyed.
If you didn’t catch their original performance, We Three first appeared on AGT for their audition. The siblings’ performance a tribute to their late mother that will make you want to ball your eyes out.
The siblings perform beautiful music together, but what is even more incredible is the fact that they write their own music!
Howie Mandel was very excited to welcome back We Three for their second performance on America’s Got Talent.
The judge said:
“When you first came on and honored the legacy of your mother, it was incredibly moving to all of is. Is the song that you’re singing tonight is it an original or a cover?”
The group told the judges that they were performing another original song!
This time, they were singing about dealing with inner demons that we all face. The message of the song is to be able to accept the fact that it is okay to not be okay.
The name of their new original song is “Lifeline” and the judges could not wait to hear it.
When they finished belting out the incredible tune, all five judges were out of their seats and on their feet and clapping for the band.
The judges had a lot of praise for We Three’s performance. Mel B said:
“I just love, love, love everything about you guys. Your passion, your music, your words, your everything. I want you there at those live shows, I really believe in you guys, I really do.”
Guest judge Martina McBride told the group that their opening line of the song was one of the best she’s ever heard in the music business – and she’s heard a lot of music.
The video was shared on America’s Got Talent Facebook page and in an hour, it has gotten 250,000 views, 10,000 likes, and over 4,000 shares. Many AGT fans have chimed in at the comments section with their thoughts on the performance.
One Facebook user wrote:
That song, “Lifeline” could be a big hit on the radio tomorrow. When can I download it!?!? Lol. I LOVE IT. It made me have all kinds of feels. Great songwriting.
One Facebook user was impressed by the drummer’s skills:
They will have my vote every time. Amazing! And can we just mention the drummer is also playing piano at the same time? Because that was pretty cool.
While another user felt that We Three deserved the Golden Buzzer of the night (which they did not get):
I bet Martina is sorry she gold buzzer’d the dancers! This sibling band is phenomenal
