Ask any person what their idea of America is and they’ll tell you either of two things.

It’s either massive cities with towering buildings or cowboys.

Both correct answers but it’s the western vibe that tends to stick out.

Wide open country, horses, cowboys and stories of adventure are what helped shape the nation today.

Before there were skyscrapers, there were men in boots dancing the night sky away.

The sound of country music is as evocative today as it was over a century ago.

Country music is all about story telling.

There’s plenty of stories to go around but as is with any culture, it’s the dancing that endures even after all these years.

It’s the perfect dance for newbies!

Line dancing is pretty self-explanatory: people dancing in lines to music.

These are dances choreographed with a repeating series of steps that are performed in unison by groups of people in lines or rows.

Dancers avoid contact with one another.

Dancers perform the same number of steps at the same time.

Watch how these guys do it. There’s a count to it and once you get that count in a rhythm, the rest is easy. Just go with the flow and dance away!

Choreographed by David Villellas and played to Nathan Carter’s “Wagon Wheel”, the step, swing, and twirl sequence just repeats itself over the course of the entire song, each dancer stomping their boots along to the count.

A viewer named Jose Martinez posted,

The best part of this video was the audience dancing. Amazing. Concerts should be like this one. No sitting, no standing, but dancing. Bravo!”

According to Live About,

“Because its steps are simple and don’t involve dancing with a partner, line dancing is ideal for singles and people who don’t normally dance. Line dancing is taught and practiced in country-western dance bars, social clubs, and dance halls around the world.”

What’s really impressive though is how light on their feet these two guys are.

David and his buddy look like their bouncing on springs with the way they flow to the music. And they’re in boots!

“There is nothing like a man who can dance, any dance, think it looks so natural and just wants me to be swept along in the fun…..great instructors. So skillful, seen some of his choreography before and he is really good.”

Says another viewer.

Just look at the number of participants!

What a great way to let loose and just forget about life for a few minutes.

And if you watch closely, not all of them are exactly gifted dancers. But they still went ahead and danced!

Turn the volume up and line dance with these guys below!
