We bring you a video of Brookside’s annual “BooHaha” Halloween block party when Heather Hall’s Studio One dancers flash mobbed the event.

You can’t go wrong with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” for Halloween!

It all happens in front of Ida Red Boutique in Tulsa where there are a lot of people dressed-up and ready to celebrate Halloween.

They came for the annual party and got a little extra surprise when professional dancers from Studio One appeared. It’s a very interesting flash mob, because you expect a lot of funny things during the Halloween party, and yet these people were surprised by the perfect choreography. We guess that no one expected such believable zombie moves.

The popular “Thriller” starts blasting in the streets and we can see some dancers dressed like zombies staggering through the crowd and grabbing attention.

The zombies head towards the middle of the street, but the real fun starts when they get into position. We applaud the song choice, outfits, and the horror genre vibe these dancers created. There’s even one dancer who completely dressed up like Michael Jackson!

For those who don’t know, Studio One has had some serious success in the world of dance.

Heather Hall is a Tulsan dancer, choreographer, and teacher.

She owns a Cherry Street dance studio named Studio One. Hanson choreographed the “Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’” music video, which became a YouTube phenomenon. MTV named the video one of the Top Five music videos with killer dance sequences. “I’m thinking big and going big time,” Hall said.

She aims to promote the Tulsa dance as much as she can—and she’s done a great job so far!

Hall also co-choreographed the “Hero: The Rock Opera” Tour in 2001.

Currently, she’s dedicated to teaching dance lessons and sharing the rhythm of her hometown. Thanks to her great direction, everyone keeps in perfect zombie character the whole time!

This Tulsan flash-mob bursts with energy.

The dancers did an excellent job, and their zombie roles were incredibly persuasive. Most choreographies with a similar theme miss that zombie theatrics, but Hall and her dance team nailed it all so well. There is a huge crowd around them, people are filming the dance and some felt encouraged to share some of their “Thriller” moves, joining the dancing group.

Heather is in the front leading the group and she dances so well.

All the dancers are snappy and synced. It is nice to see that dancers put the time and practice in to honor Jackson, whose music has become part of American culture.

This awesome flash mob got a well-deserved four million views!

The video was filmed in 2010, but it can easily perk you right up even today.

It’s a great “Thriller” flash mob, with awesome moves. As Hall said:

“There are no rules to dance. There are fundamentals, there is history, but it all comes to what you’re passionate about.”

Jackson was an icon when it comes to the show business, and we’re happy to see young people inspired by his work. The legend lives on, and his unforgettable dance moves will be sticking around.
