When musicians have children, we can’t help but wonder whether the child will inherit their parent’s musical genes and follow in their footsteps one day.

Those lucky children who inherit their parent’s musical talent will luckily have support and guidance from their musical family members.

Tyler Tritt is one of those kids and she’s got the genes.

After watching Travis Tritt invite his daughter onstage we can all agree that she most certainly did.

Since Travis has been mega-famous for some time, he went out of his way to give Tyler the best of both worlds. He struck a balance between normal life and work life.

But just how famous and experienced is Travis Tritt?

Not only is Travis Tritt an American country singer, songwriter, but even an actor. He’s been certified triple platinum, not to mention countless other awards across many platforms.

So, one could say he is a very well-rounded, experienced, and acclaimed artist. So it makes sense why his daughter Tyler would go on to follow in his footsteps.

When Tyler was just a child her parents knew she was born from stardom.

Ever since Tyler was a young girl she’s been following in her father’s footsteps as a musician. While her parents knew she was born for stardom, they wanted her to have a normal childhood.

In an interview with Lake and Summer Style her mother states,

“She has been wanting to do this since she was little, but we wanted to be sure she had a normal childhood…we let her dabble a little. When she was younger, Disney and Nickelodeon wanted her to do a show and stuff, but Travis wouldn’t let her do it. He figured if she was talented back then, she’d get even better as she got older.”

As she’s grown up she’s been able to sharpen her skills.

She’s practiced with her father and took the time to find her own unique sound. She’s gotten to explore other interests too. Tyler continues with Lake and Summer Style stating,

“I’m very well rounded. I dance, sing, act, and model. I recently got into pageants, but I’m also a tomboy. I love four-wheel riding and hog hunting, any kind of hunting, really. My dad taught me how to use a gun. He taught me a lot of things, like how to change the tire in my car and how to saddle my horse.

Finally, they decided to debut as a duo and release their first duet.

The song was a remake of Patty Smy and Don Henley’s song “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” since then they’ve been performing together on stages around the world.

Eventually, she decided to try standing on her own.

Tyler spread her wings solo with her debut single, “Perfect“. When speaking to Country’s Chatter she said she wanted people to relate to more than just the lyrics.

“My goal for this song is for people to be able to relate. I want everyone to hear it and say, ‘that reminds me of my first love. That common thread of the excitement of a first love, the heartache, and feeling that never really leaves even with the passing of time. Taking people back to that time and place strikes a chord with this song.”

Since then her very own music career has taken off.

She joined her dad onstage to sing the song that started it all.

The crowd simply can’t get over how good this father-daughter duo sings together and the talent Tyler inherited.
