The Rockettes is the world’s most famous precision dance team.

Dating back to 1925, the first group of dancers was created in St. Louis, Missouri, and then started a nationwide tour.

To this day, the dance troupe performs in Radio City Music Hall.

It’s the world’s largest indoor theater, located in New York, with their Christmas performance being the most special one.

In November 2014, the dance group absolutely stunned the audience who was present at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with their toy soldier routine performance.

A clip from that performance was uploaded on YouTube at the time and it has been viewed by more than 3 million people over the years.

“It has been part of the RCMH Christmas show since the first one in 1933,” a user exlained in the comment section below the video.

It’s no wonder that YouTube users have found the Rockettes’ performance outstanding, and they just can’t get enough of it.

The dancers, dressed in classic toy soldier costumes, give their best on stage, executing their choreography in a flawless manner.

Their movements are super coordinated, and they don’t miss a step.

It’s clearly a choreography they have rehearsed numerous times and some of them performed before during an older Christmas Spectacular.

Their performance is quite captivating to watch.

Although one that is unfamiliar with dance cannot realize how much work it takes to perfect such synchronization of movements, it is pretty awesome to see how these dancers are achieving really impeccable flow.

“When they turn as a line or parade in the star formation, the Rockettes on the outside of the line have to take longer steps than those on the inside of the line or the star in order to make it look unison,” the user goes on to explain in his comment.

Indeed, it is essentially different groups of dancers within the group as a whole that move in different directions and at different speeds, which can be confusing if you are not an expert dancer.

But these people definitely aren’t just any dancers. They are the elite.

You see, in order for someone to make it to the Rockettes dance team, they need to be proficient in tap, jazz, ballet, and modern dance.

Well, that sounds kind of overwhelming to even read, right?

So, while the whole choreography is amazing and the Rockettes receive lots of applause during their performance, the best part comes at the end, of course.

The dancers start collapsing one after the other creating the illusion of a domino effect, which to the eye of the viewer is so soothing to see for some reason.

When they all fall back, they suddenly sit up and salute in the most impressive way.

And that’s how the end is signaled.

By no surprise, people are loving it.

“I never get tired of this I am fortunate enough to live about an hour from nyc so I have seen this many times over the years I love it,” someone wrote.
