Arthur Migliazza is a well loved boogie woogie pianist who’s earned many titles and won numerous awards.
At the age of 13, his love of music and impressive dedication to the piano saw him come under the wing of such mentors and teachers like Henry Butler, Ann Rabson and Mr. B.
Migliazza has been inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame. His 25 years and so of performing saw him play in front of the world’s greatest stages.
Places like the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow allowed Arthur to showcase his skills for the sold out Kings of Boogie Tour. The Birdland Jazz Club in New York City, Benaroya Hall in Seattle, and many other places garnered Arthur thousands of fans.
But he’s got his biggest fan in his home.

Mattea Paige Migliazza is Arthur’s beautiful little girl who so obviously loves her daddy’s playing.
And while he may be used to playing in front of thousands of cheering jazz fans, playing for his daughter surely brings a bigger smile to his father’s face. She’s super cute!
So he sits and plays a little boogie woogie jam on the piano letting Mattea stretch her legs and dance an adorable little bop that would melt the heart of any father watching the clip.

Little Mattea could care less how famous her father is. All she wants to do is dance and enjoy that treat she has!

It was in 2014 when Arthur received the Best of the Blues Award for Best Keyboardist in Washington State. His album Laying It Down, took the number one spot on the Roots Music Report charts for Washington State for the summer of 2014.
It reached number twenty on the national chart.
And here, it’s little Mattea who’s Laying It Down!
She definitely looks like a future musician. Whether she’ll be another famous pianist or dancer is anyone’s guess. But since Mattea is the future, she could probably be both a dancer and pianist!

“Gee I miss those days with our kids when I see something like this. What a little sweetheart daughter you’ve got. One day I hope I’m a grampa, and I’ll be playing with those little ones just as much as my old man body will permit.”
Well let’s hope he spends more time with the grandkids then!
As impressive and as catchy Arthur’s playing is, it’s his daughter who’s got the spotlight for this one.
Father and daughter end it on a very cool note too.
Mattea seems to have gotten tired. She stops dancing but as soon as Arthur finishes his playing, he hits a key on the piano and gives her a look. So she walks over to hit the same key!
