It’s good to laugh. In fact, it’s very good for your health to laugh regularly.

Thankfully, there are many performers in the world capable of sending people into hysterics.

Doctors and scientists say that laughing carries with it a plethora of health benefits to our immune system, and also helps to regulate stress response.

There is a reason they say laughter is the best medicine.

It’s okay to laugh at things that are silly

“Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain,” explains the Mayo Clinic.

It doesn’t matter what it is that you find funny, it only matters that you laugh.

The health benefits that come from laughing have nothing to do with what type of humor you enjoy.

Even if others think your sense of humor is a little low-brow, it doesn’t matter at all.

Sometimes a silly dance is all it takes

That’s where the teenagers in this video come in.

Nobody would classify what they have done here as smart humor.

It’s not funny because it points out an ironic truth about life, it doesn’t make an intelligent play on words, it’s just a bunch of teenage dudes doing a silly dance.

A really silly dance!

“Laughter can also stimulate circulation and aid muscle relaxation, both of which can help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress,” reads the Mayo Clinic.

Dancing is also great medicine

While laughter might be the best medicine, dancing is pretty good too.

Not only does the exercise help one maintain a healthy body, the joy it produces can improve mood and mental well-being. It’s also fun.

Internationally celebrated choreographer and artistic director Kristin Sudeikis explained the benefits of dance to Oprah Daily.

“The everyday life of cell phones, laptops, and screens can result in a shrinking back and in, rather than an expanding up and out,” Sudeikis said. “The dance floor offers an invitation to unapologetically practice taking up space while also acknowledging the people around you—which is something we could use more of in the world, don’t you think?”

Everyone enjoys a silly little dance

In the video below, three teenagers performed a dance for their high school.

The trick is they had other people act as their legs in sort of a puppet show-esque fashion.

The end result was three teens looking like they are dancing to several popular songs in front of a funhouse mirror.

What makes the dance funny is just noticing how much fun the three dancers are having.

They are bopping around to the music, smiling, and appear to be very much aware that they are involved in some true silliness.

Just let loose and dance

Dancing and being silly share one very important thing in common: They both involve the person completely letting loose and allowing themselves to have a good time.

There isn’t a person in the world who wouldn’t benefit from this.

Taking a break to laugh a few times a day is good for the body, mind, and soul.

You can take one now and watch these three teenagers and their silly little dances.
